  • Publication number: 20150305459
Abstract: A protection device includes a receiving portion for receiving an electronic device and a cover portion pivotally connected to one side of the receiving portion for opening or covering the receiving portion. The cover portion includes a first reinforcing member, two right angle trapezoid-shaped second reinforcing members symmetrically located at two opposite sides of the first reinforcing member, two third reinforcing members, and a fourth reinforcing member. The two third reinforcing members respectively located between the two second reinforcing members and the fourth reinforcing member. The first, second, third and fourth reinforcing members are connected flexibly to each other. When the first reinforcing member is folded relative to the fourth reinforcing member and the second reinforcing members contact the first reinforcing member, the cover portion is rotated to allow the first reinforcing member to abut against a back of the receiving portion.

  • Publication number: 20150280497
Abstract: An electric motor has a polygon stator core. The polygon stator core includes yoke portions and teeth extending inwardly from the yoke portions. A winding slot is formed between adjacent teeth. Adjacent yoke portions are interconnected by a connecting portion. The winding slots include first winding slots and second winding slots of different shapes. The ratio of the area of a first winding slot to the area of a second winding slot is greater than or equal to 0.9 but less than or equal to 1.1. By changing the shape of the stator core, the size of the winding slots may be increased without increasing the radial dimension of the motor.

  • Publication number: 20150266974
Abstract: The present invention relates to antibodies with pH dependent binding to its antigen such that the affinity for antigen binding at physiological pH (i.e., pH 7.4) is greater than at endosomal pH (i.e., pH 6.0 or 5.5). In other words, the KD or koff ratio at pH 5.5/pH 7.4 or at pH 6.0/pH 7.4 is more than, or ranges between, 2, 3, 4, 8, 10, 16, 20, 30, 40, or 100 or more. Such pH dependent antibodies preferentially dissociate from the antigen in the endosome. This can increase antibody half life, as compared to antibodies with equivalent KDs at pH 7.4 but with no pH dependent binding, when the antigen is one that undergoes antigen-mediated clearance (e.g., PCSK9). Antibodies with pH dependent binding can decrease total antigen half life when the antigen undergoes reduced clearance when bound to antibody (e.g., IL6). Antibodies with pH dependent binding can also prolong the decrease in antigen which is not antibody-bound.

  • Patent number: 8924396
Abstract: A computer-implemented method, computer-readable medium and system for scoring a text are disclosed. Themes within one or more texts may be determined and used to score each text, where an overall score for each text may indicate a respective importance and/or value of each text. The score for each text may be determined based upon a number of themes, type of themes, frequency of theme elements associated with the themes, distribution of theme elements associated with the themes, location of themes in the text, some combination thereof, etc. In this manner, the importance or value of one or more texts may be determined more accurately using information within each text with reduced reliance upon external information. Additionally, more relevant search results can be returned to a user by using internal information to perform ranking operations and/or filtering operations associated with a search.
