Publication number: 20240086633Abstract: A method for generating and outputting a message is implemented using an electronic device the stores a computer program product and a text database. The text database includes a main message template, a template text that includes a placeholder, and a word group that includes a plurality of preset words for replacing the placeholder. The method includes: in response to receipt of a command for execution of the computer program product, displaying an editing interface including the main message template; in response to receipt of user operation of a selection of the main message template, displaying the template text; in response to receipt of user operation of a selection of one of the preset words via the user interface, generating an edited text by replacing the placeholder with the one of the preset words in the template text; and outputting the edited text as a message.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 25, 2023Publication date: March 14, 2024Inventors: Yi-Ru CHIU, Ting-Yi LI, Hong-Xun WANG, Jin-Lin CHEN, Chih-Hsuan YEH, Chia-Chi YIN, Wei-Ting LI, Po-Lun CHANG

Publication number: 20240077581Abstract: A high-resolution antenna array includes an equivalent antenna array obtained by arrangement of a first and a second physical antenna array. The equivalent antenna array includes a first and a second equivalent antenna group respectively having a plurality of first and second antenna units arranged at equal intervals. The second equivalent antenna group is translated by a unit interval with respect to the first equivalent antenna group, such that each first and second antenna units are staggered and arranged at intervals along a same direction. A processor obtains a target signal reflected by a target object and carries out a calibration on the target signal to obtain a precise phase difference, thereby obtaining an accurate angle of arrival of the target signal. Thus, through the distribution of antennas, the present invention achieves a high angle resolution and prevents angle ambiguity.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 20, 2022Publication date: March 7, 2024Applicant: CUBTEK INC.Inventors: HONG-LUN CHEN, YU-WANG HU

Publication number: 20230086601Abstract: The present invention provides a radar velocity measurement system, method, and radar device. The system includes a radar module and an electrically connected signal processor. The radar module includes a transmission antenna and a receive antenna. The signal processor includes a sequence unit, a conversion unit, and a compare calculation unit that are coupled with each other. The sequence unit establishes an even number receive sequence and an odd number receive sequence. The conversion unit carries out a time domain to frequency domain conversion upon the receive sequences to generate a first reflection signal and a second reflection signal, respectively. The compare calculation unit uses an interpolation method to compare the phase difference between the reflection signals with a comparison model to obtain a true velocity. Therefore, the present invention effectively prevents the velocity ambiguity issue of radar system.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 18, 2022Publication date: March 23, 2023Applicant: CUBTEK INC.Inventors: HONG-LUN CHEN, YU-WANG HU

Publication number: 20220252720Abstract: A multimode radar device includes a central processing module, and an antenna module disposed in a middle area of the rear end of a vehicle and electrically connected with the central processing module. The central processing module has a motion determination switch unit, which has a low distance resolution mode and a high distance resolution mode. The motion determination switch unit detects the moving direction of the vehicle. When the vehicle moves forward, the antenna module operates in the low distance resolution mode. When the vehicle reverses, the antenna module operates in the high distance resolution mode. The present invention applies different distance-based resolution modes for blind spot detection and reverse radar detection, so as to fulfill the purpose and demand in different moving motion.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 6, 2022Publication date: August 11, 2022Applicant: CUBTEK INC.Inventors: SHYH-JONG CHUNG, CHING-HAN TSAI, YU-WANG HU, HONG-LUN CHEN, HSIEN-MIN CHEN, HSIAO-NING WANG

Patent number: 11255961Abstract: A school bus radar system includes a main unit mounted in the school bus, and two radars protrudingly arranged on the bus body of the school bus in a tilted manner and respectively electrically connected to the main unit. When the main unit is switched to a monitoring mode, the main unit generates a radar activation signal to activate the radars in generating a signal, making the signals generated by the monitoring sources of the radars form an intersection network. The monitoring source of each radar defines a normal line. Accordingly, the intersection type three-dimensional spatial monitoring network of the radar system of the present invention is proposed for individual warnings to facilitate the driver making good judgments or stopping the running school bus in an emergency.Type: GrantFiled: May 23, 2018Date of Patent: February 22, 2022Assignee: CUB ELECPARTS INC.Inventors: San-Chuan Yu, Shyh-Jong Chung, Hong-Lun Chen, Yu-Wang Hu

Publication number: 20200088868Abstract: A vehicle speed radar system and detection method are provided. The radar system is disposed on a vehicle for determining the speed status of a target vehicle. The radar system includes a transmitting unit, a receiving unit, a self speed detection unit, a signal processing unit, and a rational speed determination unit. The transmitting unit sends out a wave source which is reflected by the target vehicle and received by the receiving unit, and a frequency value is acquired. The self speed detection unit acquired a first absolute speed. The signal processing unit acquires a relative speed, and acquires possible second absolute speeds of the target vehicle according to the first absolute speed and the relative speed. The rational speed determination unit determines the rational second absolute speed, so as to resolve the irrational determination of the speed status of the vehicle.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 21, 2018Publication date: March 19, 2020Inventors: SAN-CHUAN YU, SHYH-JONG CHUNG, HONG-LUN CHEN

Publication number: 20190369232Abstract: An in-vehicle radar detection system includes a first radar module and a second radar module separately mounted on a lateral of a vehicle. The first radar module gives a first radar signal that defines a first detection range. The second radar module gives a second radar signal that defines a second detection range. The first radar module and the second radar module give a first radar signal and a second radar signal toward each other, respectively, so that the first detection range and the second detection range fully cover the lateral of the vehicle, thereby providing full detection without any dead spaces.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 20, 2018Publication date: December 5, 2019Inventors: SAN-CHUAN YU, SHYH-JONG CHUNG, YU-WANG HU, WEN-CHENG WANG, HONG-LUN CHEN
