Patent number: 10637324Abstract: An electric actuator includes a motor having a rotary shaft. The electric actuator further includes a vibration damping gasket mounted on the motor. The vibration damping gasket includes an annular body attached around the motor and an end wall formed on one end of the annular body, and the end wall defines a through hole allowing the rotary shaft to pass therethrough. The motor further includes an outer housing, and the annular body of the vibration damping gasket is attached around the outer housing. The end wall of the vibration damping gasket contacts with the end surface of the outer housing. The vibration damping gasket is made from a resilient material. The electric actuator can effectively reduce the mechanical vibration, improve a buffering effect thereof, and hence reduce the noise.Type: GrantFiled: March 21, 2017Date of Patent: April 28, 2020Assignee: JOHNSON ELECTRIC INTERNATIONAL AGInventors: Dao Long Xiao, Jing Xin Shi, Yuan Feng Liu, Si Jun Zhao, Hong Min Wei, Shu Ze Li, Bin Liu, Xiang Chun Duan, Hui Juan Xing, Fei Fei Huang

Patent number: 9711924Abstract: A brush assembly has a brush, a brush cage, and a spring. The spring is a constant force spring having two coil portions and a connecting portion. The connecting portion the brush are together received in the brush cage. The brush has a contact end arranged to make sliding contact with a commutator and a second end remote from the contact end against which the spring applies its force, to urge the brush out of the brush cage. A hook is formed at each of two opposite sides of the brush cage, at a first end portion of the brush cage adjacent the contact end of the brush. The coil portions respectively engage the hooks. The hooks extend at different angles to a corresponding outer surface of the brush cage.Type: GrantFiled: April 17, 2015Date of Patent: July 18, 2017Assignee: Johnson Electric S.A.Inventors: Hong Min Wei, Yin Deng, Bin Liu, Hui Juan Xing

Patent number: 9124152Abstract: A permanent magnet motor has a rotor and a stator. The rotor has a shaft, a rotor core and commutator fixed to the shaft, and rotor windings wound about poles of the rotor core and electrically connected to the commutator. The stator has an axially extending round housing, a ring magnet member fixed to an inner surface of the round housing, an endcap, and at least one pair of brushes in sliding contact with the commutator. A chamber is formed by the housing and the endcap. The commutator is disposed in the chamber. A window lift device incorporating the motor is also provided.Type: GrantFiled: February 17, 2012Date of Patent: September 1, 2015Assignee: Johnson Electric S.A.Inventors: Mao Xiong Jiang, Yue Li, Jian Zhao, Hong Min Wei, Ke Lin Zhou, Xing Zhang

Patent number: 8796896Abstract: An electric motor, especially a brushless PMDC motor, has a stator and a rotor rotatably installed inside of the stator. The stator has a housing with an open end, an end cap fixed to the open end of the housing, a stator core fixed to an inner surface of the housing, and windings wound on the stator core. The rotor includes a plurality of permanent magnetic poles. The housing has a flange bent inwardly from the open end of the housing and abutting against the end cap inwardly and axially to thereby fix the end cap to the housing. The length of the flange measured along the circumferential direction of the housing is greater than half of that of the housing.Type: GrantFiled: October 21, 2011Date of Patent: August 5, 2014Assignee: Johnson Electric S.A.Inventors: James Ching Sik Lau, Mao Xiong Jiang, Gang Li, Ke Lin Zhou, Hong Min Wei, Jie Chai, Tao Zhang
