  • Patent number: 10586326
Abstract: Systems and methods for generating biomarkers associated with neuropsychiatric disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, neurobehavioral disorders, or other neurological disorders are described. In general, the biomarkers are generated based on correlations between functional imaging data and clinical acquired from a subject, as computed using a multivariate classifier. Functional imaging data may include functional magnetic resonance images, or activation maps generated from such images. Clinical data generally includes data associated with a clinical or behavioral characterization of the subject. The biomarkers can be used to monitor or otherwise assess a treatment response; to provide diagnostic information, such as subtyping or classifying a disorder; to provide prognostic information, such as a prediction of treatment response or outcome; or to indicate functional or anatomical targets for treatments.

  • Publication number: 20200033434
Abstract: A system and method for imaging a subject includes a first imaging pulse sequence having gradient blips along an x-direction and a y-direction to acquire calibration image data from multiple slices. The imaging pulse sequence also includes a plurality of Z-shimming gradient blips coincident in time with the gradient blips along the x- and y-directions and varied within each slice. A plurality of calibration images are reconstructed from the calibration image data and a comparison image is formed by selecting an image from the calibration images corresponding to at least one of the varied Z-shimming gradient blips for each slice to determine a desired value of the Z-shimming gradient blips. The desired values are used to perform a second pulse sequence to acquire clinical image data from the subject. The second pulse sequence is used to acquire clinical images having been compensated for magnetic susceptibility variations within the subject.

  • Patent number: 8740447
Abstract: In a flat panel display having integral frame structure, features of a metal frame and a plastic support, which support, position, and fix each component, are incorporated as an integral frame structure, such that no additional structure component is needed for the flat panel display to assemble the backlight module and the panel module. The frame structure is assembled to the bottom cover via screw that can reduce defectiveness of repetitive processing. A concave section at the bottom of the frame structure can contain a control circuit board for the panel cell such that the control circuit board can be rerouted downward to the bottom of the frame structure. The space required at the light source side of the flat panel display can be reduced, hence leading to the flat panel display with thin frame at the light source side.
