    Abstract: A sulfur-containing platinum-carbon catalyst, a preparation method thereof, and an application thereof are provided. The sulfur-containing platinum-carbon catalyst contains sulfur-containing conductive carbon black and a platinum metal loaded thereon. The total sulfur content in the sulfur-containing conductive carbon black is greater than or equal to the surface sulfur content, and the weight fraction of platinum is 20-70% by weight based on the total weight of the catalyst. The sulfur-containing platinum-carbon catalyst of the invention has a lower overpotential and a higher weight specific activity.

A process for preparing the sulfur-modified carbon material includes an impregnation step to impregnate the conductive carbon black with a solution containing sulfur at 10-80° C. for 1-5 h, and a drying step.

    Abstract: A device selectively executes native machine code of a computing method in an application. Prior to execution of the application, a predicted usage level of the computing method is determined based on available statistical analysis data of the computing method. According to a determination of whether the predicted usage level exceeds a threshold, a selector selects executable code of the computing method for execution. The executable code is the native machine code or bytecode of the computing method. When the computing method is called during execution of the application, the selected executable code is loaded from non-volatile storage into memory for execution by a virtual machine. Furthermore, runtime usage level of the computing method is monitored to determine whether to switch from bytecode to native machine code execution.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a motor lubricant cycling system, wherein a plurality of slots are disposed in the inner wall of the shaft tube in contact with the bearing, one end of the slot is connected to the conjunction of the top side of the bearing and the shaft, the lubricant, due to the pump effect, elevates along the shaft when the motor is rotating at high speed and is sucked in the slot by a backflow suction, and the other end of the slot is connected to the lubricant container beneath the bearing in formation of a guiding path dedicated to the lubricant cycling. According, the lubricant can be recycled for operation so as to reduce the noise resulting from the motor operation and prolong the life cycle.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for allocating CRC (Cyclic Redundancy Check) codes in a flash ROM (Read-Only Memory). The apparatus includes a flash ROM and a microprocessor. The flash ROM is logically divided into a plurality of data blocks. Each data block contains a CRC code block that includes a plurality of bytes for saving CRC codes. The microprocessor can write to and read from the flash ROM, calculate a complement code of a sum of all the bytes of the data block, and add the complement code to data of one of the plurality of bytes. The microprocessor thus generates new CRC codes and writes them to the corresponding CRC code block. The new CRC codes generated can meet the critical requirement of CRC. That is, the sum of all the bytes of the data block (including the CRC code block) is null.
