    Abstract: A digital photographing apparatus, a tracking method, and a recording medium having recorded thereon a program for executing the tracking method are provided which effectively determine a target image as a partial image corresponding to a reference image in a frame image. The digital photographing apparatus includes: an image pickup device; a mask preparer which prepares a mask having the same size as a reference image that is smaller than a current frame image; a matching data obtainer which obtains a plurality of pieces of matching data by applying the mask to a plurality of matching images having the same size as the reference image; and a target image determiner which determines one of the matching images as a target image by using the matching data.

    Abstract: Apparatus and method for temperature control in a rapid thermal processing(RTP) system using an adaptive control are disclosed. The apparatus of the present invention is comprised of a controller, a nonlinear dynamic estimator, and a parameter adaptator as a whole. The parameter adaptator reflects tracking errors between desired output and actual output to vary parameters, and the nonlinear dynamic estimator enables on-line identification of the dynamic characteristics of the system using the varied parameters. The controller generates the control input on the basis of the estimated values to perform the control of the system. According to the present invention, in the temperature control of a RTP system an accurate output tracking to a reference trajectory can be achieved by on-line identification of system dynamics and adaptive control even though system model is unknown or system characteristics are time-varying.

The TFT includes a substrate, a source electrode, a drain electrode and a lower gate electrode on the substrate, a buffer layer covering an exposed surface of the substrate as well as the source, drain and lower gate electrodes. An active layer is formed on the buffer layer, wherein a source region, a drain region, lightly-doped (LD) regions and a channel region are formed in the active layer. A gate insulating layer is formed on the channel and LD regions. An upper gate electrode is then formed on the gate insulating layer over the channel region. A passivation layer then covers the upper gate electrode.
