  • Patent number: 9968411
Abstract: Provided is a micro-robot which is integratedly or detachably coupled to one end of a catheter or a guidewire for performing a medical operation using the catheter. Steering and drilling are independently performed by using a catheter thinner in thickness than a related art catheter. The a micro-robot is smoothly inserted into a lesion part and removes a risk of injury and infection in an opening operation through precise steering.

  • Publication number: 20170058250
Abstract: Provided is a cell stimulating system including an oscillator, in an ultrasound probe array type, including a plurality of ultrasound devices disposed in a matrix structure, the oscillator being produced using a micro electro mechanical system (MEMS), a plurality of cell containers configured to each contain a cell that is selectively stimulated by the ultrasound devices, the cell containers being disposed on a top of the oscillator to correspond to each of the ultrasound devices, and a device operator configured to operate an ultrasound device selected from among the ultrasound devices. According to an embodiment of the present invention, it is possible to selectively and simultaneously stimulate the cell of each of the cell containers based on a plurality of parameters, by selective operation of the ultrasound devices of the oscillator by the device operator, such that various experiments are simultaneously performed while reducing cost and an amount of time used for the experiments.

  • Publication number: 20150351856
Abstract: A capsule-type microrobot is provided. A capsule-type microrobot according to the present invention comprises a motor including a receptacle having an internal space, with one portion thereof being open, a body extending from the receptacle, and a magnetic layer disposed on an outer surface of the body. A cap is coupled to a predetermined portion of the receptacle to close the internal space such that contents are contained in the receptacle. The motor separates the cap therefrom by rotating with respect to the cap through an interaction between a rotating magnetic force applied from an external source and the magnetic layer, whereby the contents are discharged from the receptacle.

  • Publication number: 20150351897
Abstract: A mobile bio-scaffold controlled by a magnetic field is provided. A mobile bio-scaffold controlled by a magnetic field according to the present invention comprises a spherical body including a first ring, a second ring connected to the first ring that intersects the second ring, and a third ring connected to the first and second rings that intersect the third ring, with a plurality of openings being defined by the first to third rings. A magnetic layer is disposed on the spherical body. The spherical body rotates through interaction between the magnetic layer and a rotational magnetic field applied from an external source, thereby moving by rolling in a single direction.
