  • Publication number: 20230155446
Abstract: Disclosed is a direct slot cooling system for motors, including a stator configured to expand an inner slot space of a stator core where a coil is wound to form a cooling slot through which a cooling fluid passes; a rotor coupled to a center of the stator to rotate; and a housing coupled to left and right sides of the stator to form a cooling jacket in watertight communication with a cooling slot so that a cooling fluid circulates in the cooling jacket.

  • Publication number: 20200395798
Abstract: Disclosed is a rotor for a spoke motor, in which both rare-earth magnets and ferrite magnets are arranged in series, the rare-earth magnet has a smaller size than the ferrite magnet, and a small amount of rare-earth magnet is used, such that manufacturing costs may be greatly reduced, an efficient output may be produced, the motor may produce a higher output than a spoke motor model using only the ferrite magnet, and the motor may use a smaller amount of rare-earth magnet than an IPM type motor model, but may produce an output at a similar level to that of the IPM type motor model.

  • Patent number: 9667111
Abstract: Exemplary embodiments disclose a rotor of an electric motor and an electric motor using the same. The rotor includes a core which includes a plurality of protrusion portions which are arranged along an outer circumference of the core and protrude radially to an outer portion of the core, and a plurality of concave portions interposed between the protrusion portions; a plurality of permanent magnets which are respectively disposed at the plurality of concave portions; and a plurality of pole pieces which are disposed at the plurality of concave portions and at outer sides of the plurality of permanent magnets. A length of each of the plurality of pole pieces in an axial direction is shorter than a length of each of the plurality of protrusion portions in the axial direction.

  • Patent number: 9209671
Abstract: A stator module and a motor including the stator module are provided. The motor includes a stator and a stator module. The rotor includes a rotor core and a plurality of rotor poles arranged around a circumference of the rotor core, each generating a magnetic flux. The stator module includes a first stator and a second stator disposed coaxially with each other, each being rotatable in a circumferential direction and each having a coil wound thereon, and a rotation driving unit which controls a rotation of the first stator and the second stator through the same angle in opposite directions, thereby controlling a flux linkage of a rotor according to the rotational angle of each of the first stator and the second stator.

  • Patent number: 9083219
Abstract: A rotor and a motor are provided in which the q-axis inductance is increased and the leakage of magnetic flux is prevented to ensure high power operation at high level driving speeds. The rotor includes a rotor core, which is formed at the center thereof with a hole coupled to a shaft, and a module configured to be coupled to the rotor core and comprises a pair of first permanent magnets, which are space apart from each other, and a first connection part connecting ends of the first permanent magnets to each other.
