    Abstract: Contacts for semiconductor devices are formed where a barrier layer comprising graphene is situated between a first layer comprising a conductor, and a second layer comprising a second conductor or a semiconductor. For example, a metal layer can be formed on a graphene layer residing on a semiconductor. The barrier layer can be directly formed on some second layers, for example, graphene can be transferred from an organic polymer/graphene bilayer structure and the organic polymer removed and replaced with a metal or other conductor that comprises the first layer of the contact. The bilayer can be formed by CVD deposition on a metallic second layer, or the graphene can be formed on a template layer, for example, a metal layer, and bound by a binding layer comprising an organic polymer to form an organic polymer/graphene/metal trilayer structure. The template layer can be removed to yield the bilayer structure.

    Abstract: A susceptor for deposition process equipment is provided. The susceptor includes a heater that heats the susceptor. The heater includes a sheath. The sheath surrounds a heating wire and is filled with an insulating ceramic material. An isolation layer is formed opposing ends of the sheath to isolate the ceramic material from the ambient environment. The isolation layer is formed from a lead/glass mixture that blocks moisture in the ambient environment from being absorbed by the insulating material. Input/output terminals are connected to the heating wire. The input/output terminals pass through the isolation layer and are exposed to the ambient environment. Current is supplied to the heating wire through the input/output terminals to heat the heating wire.

    Abstract: A plasma display apparatus includes a transparent electrode formed on an upper substrate, a black layer formed on the transparent electrode, and a bus electrode formed on the black layer, wherein the bus electrode is in contact with the transparent electrode at the outside of the region where the black layer is formed. Thus, the resistance value of the electrodes is reduced, and accordingly the driving voltage is also reduced, thereby improving power efficiency. Further, the plasma display apparatus is able to achieve an entirely uniform screen display and improves light room contrast, thereby improving the merchantability of the product.

    Abstract: A PET bottle with an integrated handle and a method of manufacturing the PET bottle, in which the handle is integrally formed on a PET bottle body during an injection-molding process of producing the bottle body. Thus, the handle is easily provided on the bottle body, and has a high strength to enhance the structural durability of the PET bottle, and secures the operational stability and safety of PET bottles while handling the bottles. The method includes a preform-forming step of injecting a molten resin into a first mold unit to produce a preform having a mouth, a body and a handle; a heating step of heating the preform; a drawing/blowing step of drawing the body of the preform by a drawing bar to lengthen the body in a second mold unit, and blowing air into the body to shape the body according to the shape of a cavity of the second mold unit; and a product-removing step of removing a product from the second mold unit.
