A coil of the actuator assembly produces a magnetic force on a magnet armature of the actuator assembly such that, as the magnet armature travels toward a pole piece of the actuator assembly, the magnet armature covers an idle stroke to a stop element of the valve needle and then carries the valve needle toward the pole piece. A spring constant of the closing spring and the magnetic force are matched such that the magnitude of the resultant force of the spring force and the magnetic force decreases with increasing distance of the valve needle from the closing position and remains the same with increasing the distance.

The passenger also provides feedback relating to the vehicle's driving style during operation, and the passenger feedback is used to train the machine learning module to create a personal driving style decision-making model for the passenger that controls operation of the autonomous vehicle. A personal driving style preference profile for the passenger also may be obtained by collecting motion sensor data relating to driving habits of the passenger when the passenger is a driver. The driving style preference profile is used by the motion planner to modify operation of the autonomous vehicle in accordance with the driving style preference profile.

    Abstract: Processes and compositions are described for preparing new, colloidally stable, coated nanomagnetic particles useful for both in-vitro and in-vivo biomedical applications, including cell targeting and capturing cells, microorganisms, and cellular organelles or entities such as exosomes. These nanomagnetic particles can also be used as imaging contrast agents due to their small size and high magnetic moment. The nanomagnetic particles include a series of sequentially added, stabilizing surface coatings rendered onto nano-sized magnetic crystal clusters (e.g., magnetite particles) to impart colloidal stability in complex biological samples with minimal leaching of the coating materials, high binding capacity, and low non-specific binding. Another benefit of this invention is the ability to utilize both external and internal magnetic field-generating separation devices to effect separation of the magnetic nanoparticles.
