Abstract: A binding device for indicating the amount of negative pressure suction to use in a binding operation to treat hemorrhoids. The device is simple and convenient to use, and allows for more accurate binding operations. The binding device has a shell, a pushing pipe at the shell's front end, and a suction tube in the pushing pipe. A negative pressure device is in the shell. A scale cylinder has a cylinder body divided into two cavities and a piston piece within. The negative pressure device has a suction port in communication with the rear end of the suction tube and connected with one of the cylinder cavities. The cylinder body can move relative to the shell, and the shell has a scale part corresponding to that movement. The binding part is sleeved at the front end of the suction tube.

The secure content may be pushed under a request-specific content handle comprising a unique mapping from a specific request to a specific response. The delegation server may receive name registration authority for a fully qualified domain name (FQDN) from the origin server and may register to the FQDN so that one or more Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) requests destined to the FQDN may be served by the delegation server. The delegation server may receive an HTTP request published to the FQDN by a client network access point (cNAP that includes the request-specific content handle calculated from a Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) request from a client. The delegation server may send the secure content to the cNAP in an HTTP response. The secure content may be inserted into a HTTPS response towards the client.

Abstract: Content owners, origin servers, and other entities may wish to use elastic service provisioning to provide users improved service. For example, an origin server may wish to offload processing/network load to a surrogate server such that users of a service may experience improved performance. As another example, a content owner may wish to have content distributed to a number of surrogate servers to lower latency and improve bandwidth.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and instrumentalities are disclosed for a cooperative policy-driven content placement and/or retrieval in a backhaul-limited caching network. A policy request may be received from a policy client. An edge cache server for storing content may be determined based on at least one of an average latency, a backhaul bandwidth, a peak time table, and/or a residual storage capacity associated with the edge cache server. A time for pre-fetching content may be determined based on network usage statistics. The network usage statistics may include a historical peak time table. The content may be pre-fetched to the edge cache server at the determined time. The content may be retrieved by an access client from one or more edge cache servers in an organized manner. For example, the content may be sent to an access client from the edge cache server.

Each of the MTC devices is connected to a MTC server via said wireless communication network and includes a transceiver having a unique ID and security code, and said transceiver periodically broadcasts its normal or abnormal status information to other MTC devices within a certain range in the vicinity of that MTC device and detects and identifies other MTC devices within said range.

Abstract: A method of accessing in an equipment of a communication network is proposed in the invention. The method comprises the steps of: receiving a message 2 from a base station, the message 2 being used for an assignment of resource to transmit a message 3, the assigned resource corresponding to N HARQ RTTs, where 1?N?8; and transmitting the message 3 only in part of the N HARQ RTTs. With the scheme of the invention, a MTC device selectively transmits the Msg3 in one/some HARQ RTT and maintains silence in another one/some HARQ RTT, thus the possibility of the occurrence of access collision with other UEs may be backed off, such that other UEs, particularly human-to-human UEs, may transmit the Msg3 normally. And the possibility of the occurrence of collision is reduced from the viewpoint of the user equipments in a network, reducing entirely the possibility of an access delay and access failure.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a machine-type communication method and system. Operation capabilities of a machine are determined through a negotiation between the machine and a network (101); and the machine communicates with the network based on the determined operation capabilities (102). By adopting a negotiation mechanism, costs of a machine-type communication are reduced. Embodiments of the present invention further provide a cell search method and device. Transmission parameters for a cell are pre-configured for a device fixed in the cell; the device directly matches the cell using the pre-configured transmission parameters; and the device directly receives data in the case of a successful match. By adopting a machnism of pre-configuring transmission parameters, a cell search process is simplified, and utilization of resources is improved.

Abstract: The invention proposes a detecting and reporting method and apparatus in a user equipment of a machine type communication based communication system. The MTC user equipment firstly detects whether a predetermined event occurs; and the MTC user equipment transmits a first report message to one or more servers if the predetermined event occurs. With the technical solution of the invention, the MTC user equipment can detect the occurrence of the predetermined event, for example, the MTC user equipment being stolen, the MTC user equipment being in illegal movement, the MTC user equipment being damaged, the MTC user equipment being powered off or a predetermined data value measured by the MTC user equipment being above or below a predetermined threshold, and notify an MTS server. The MTC server can take the further action upon acquisition of the relevant condition, for example, recover the MTC user equipment, bill the user of the MTC user equipment, charge the user of the MTC user equipment, etc.
