    Abstract: A dry processing technique for corn includes the stages of cleaning, conditioning, debranning, degerming and grits breaking, and germ screening and grits extracting. The debranning stage includes first stirred debranning, dampening and second stirred debranning in sequence. The dampening stage uses a dampener (9) to add water of 0.5-5% of the corn weight to the corn, the water temperature is 10-60° C., and the stirred debranning stage is performed within 10 minutes after dampening The height of the corn is controlled within 0.5-3 m during the stirred debranning stage. Stirrers (8, 1, 12, 15) are employed, and the linear velocity of the stirring rod is controlled within 1-6 m/S. The process can increase the output rates of the corn grits and corn flour with a fat content less than 1%, and the germ with a purity of more than 80%.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a process for producing rice from paddy. The process comprises a hulling procedure for brown rice, which includes procedures of dampening, and stirred debranning. The dampening procedure involves using a dampener (13) to add water accounting for 0.5-2.5% of the weight of the brown rice material to the brown rice material, with the water temperature being 10-60?; and after the dampening procedure, the brown rice is conveyed to the procedure of stirred debranning within 10 min to be processed. During the procedure of stirred debranning, the height of the brown rice is controlled to be 0.3-2 m, and a stirrer is employed for stirring; and the linear velocity of the stirrer rod of the stirrer is controlled to be 1-6 m/s. The process uses a method of stirred debranning for debranning the brown rice, such that the acting forces on the brown rice grains are relatively small and uniform, thereby improving the removal rate of the hull of the brown rice and reducing the yield rate of broken rice.

    Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a cleaning process of wheat flour milling for peeling off the pericarp only, and a set of equipment for implementing the process. The method comprises four stages, namely, cleaning of raw wheat, pericarp peeling-off, cleaning of glossy wheat, and conditioning stage, wherein the peeling-off stage comprises a dampening step and a stirring step. The process only debrans most of the pericarp, without damaging the seed coat. Thus, this greatly reduces the probability of the seed coat being grinded into gluten powder and mixed into wheat flour, thereby reducing the ash content in the wheat flour. The set of equipment obviates a washer, thus conserving water resource and preventing water pollution.
