Abstract: A microtome includes a blade; and a knife holder. The blade has a cutting edge configured to section a specimen block. The knife holder includes a base, a pressure plate and a frame. The pressure plate is connected to the base, and the pressure plate is adjustable relative to the base to clamp the blade between base and the pressure plate. The frame includes at least one limb and a bridge extending from the at least one limb parallel to the cutting edge. The bridge is proximate the cutting edge, the bridge and the blade cooperatively define a first gap therebetween, and the bridge and the pressure plate cooperatively define a second gap therebetween.

Abstract: A blade moving device includes: a support base; a linear bushing arranged in the support base; a moving block received in the support base and movably fitted over the linear bushing; a touch connector connected to the moving block and configured to move along with the moving block; and a blade box connected to the support base and configured to receive a blade therein. The touch connector is further configured to touch and push the blade to move out of the blade box when moving along with the moving block.

Abstract: A reagent container for a tissue processor includes a first body defining a cavity configured to contain reagent; and a second body attached to the first body, wherein the second body defines a reagent passage, a cistern room and an reagent port, the reagent passage is in communication with the cavity, the cistern room is provided between the reagent passage and the reagent port and in communication with the reagent passage and the reagent port; in a flowing direction towards the reagent port, the cistern room has a larger section area than a section area of the reagent passage. The reagent coming out of the reagent passage will significantly slow down in a short time and will not spill out of the reagent container through the reagent port, thereby improving anti-spilling performance of the reagent container during transportation or operation of the reagent container.
