During flight, the processor may obtain an image from the camera, transform it into a bird-eye view image, and match it with digital surface model (DSM) data. Based on this matched image, the processor may generate a depth map image. Further, the processor may utilize the depth map image to produce a signal for controlling the operation of the aerial vehicle.
