Abstract: A system and method are used for sending and receiving email. The system includes a gateway. The gateway communicates with the mobile phone via a wireless network capable of receiving a short message sent from a mobile phone. The gateway is connected to a mail server which has a plurality of mailboxes via a network. The gateway is capable of communicating between the mobile phone and the mail server in such a manner that the gateway converts the short message to an email, and sends the email to a receiver's mailbox in the mail server whose address is included in the short message, and the gateway converts the emails of the mailboxes of the mail server to short messages, and sends the short messages to the corresponding mobile phones.

Abstract: A method of dynamically adjusting the number of task requests is provided, which is applicable to an Internet Small Computer System Interface (iSCSI) protocol. When a target receives a task request transmitted by an initiator or the target completes the task request, the number of transmissible tasks is calculated according to an average access data volume, an current access data volume, and an allowable access data volume in the target, and returned to the initiator, such that the number of the task requests transmitted simultaneously by the initiator does not exceed the number of transmissible tasks, thereby achieving flow control. The allowable access data volume is obtained through interactive and dynamic adjustment between the target and the initiator.

Abstract: A system and method is used for transmitting an audio message by mobile phones during communication with a remote terminal. The system includes a detecting module, a storage module, a voice processing module, and an output control module. The detecting module detects whether the mobile phone is communicating with the remote terminal, and transmits a busy signal to the storage module when the mobile phone is communicating with the remote terminal. The storage module stores a plurality of digital voice signals, and transmits the corresponding digital voice signal to the voice processing module when receives the busy signal. The voice processing module converts the corresponding digital voice signal to audible voice message, and transmits the audible voice message to an output control module. The output control module transmits the audible voice message from the voice processing module to the remote terminal together with communicating voice message.

The Morse code decoder decodes the Morse code into information and outputs the information to the screen. The screen displays the information. The present invention further includes a method of inputting information in the handheld apparatus.

Abstract: A service take-over system of a multi-host system and a method therefor are provided, in which the multi-host system includes a service host and at least one standby host with their operating state monitored mutually via a heartbeat mechanism. When the service host for providing a service externally fails, an external public IP address for providing a service externally of the service host is taken over to a standby host. A service environment required for taking over the service of the service host to the standby host is prepared. The preparation state of the service environment is detected, and access request data packets via the external public IP address to the service are dropped before the service environment gets ready. The service is taken over after the service environment is ready, and the access request data packets to the service are received, so as to provide the service externally.

Abstract: A method of data access by simulating an external device to be a hard disk drive, the method enables an external device to proceed with data exchange directly with a computer. The data access method includes the following steps: firstly, the first operation system of a host detects an external device, and requests for a USB device describer from the external device. Next, the connection relationship between the host and the external device is set up in accordance with the USB device describer. An operation command is sent from the first operation system of the host to the external device, and the second operation system in the external device proceeds with data operation according to the operation command, and sends a completion message back to the host.
