  • Publication number: 20190206506
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for drift mitigation with embedded refresh are described. A memory cell may be written to and read from using write and read voltages, respectively, that are of different polarities. For example, a memory cell may be written to by applying a first write voltage and may be subsequently read from by applying a first read voltage of a first polarity. At least one additional (e.g., a second) read voltage—a setback voltage—of a second polarity may be utilized to return the memory cell to its original state. Thus the setback voltage may mitigate a shift in the voltage distribution of the cell caused by the first read voltage.

  • Publication number: 20190189209
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for non-contact electron beam probing techniques, including at one or more intermediate stages of fabrication, are described. One subset of first access lines may be grounded and coupled with one or more memory cells. A second subset of first access lines may be floating and coupled with one or more memory cells. A second access line may correspond to each first access line and may be configured to be coupled with the corresponding first access line, by way of one or more corresponding memory cells, when scanned with an electron beam. A leakage path may be determined by comparing an optical pattern generated in part by determining a brightness of each scanned access line and comparing the generated optical pattern with a second optical pattern.

  • Publication number: 20190189237
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for non-contact measurement of memory cell threshold voltage, including at one or more intermediate stages of fabrication, are described. One access line may be grounded and coupled with one or more memory cells. Each of the one or more memory cells may be coupled with a corresponding floating access line. A floating access line may be scanned with an electron beam configured to set the floating access line to a particular surface voltage at the scanned bit line, and the threshold voltage of the corresponding memory cell may be determined based on whether setting the scanned bit line to the surface voltage causes a detectable amount current to flow through the corresponding memory cell.

  • Publication number: 20190185373
Abstract: Methods of forming vias in a glass-based article by laser-damage-and-etch processes including etching solutions having positive charge organic molecules are disclosed. In some embodiments, a method of forming a via in a glass-based article includes forming a damage track through a bulk of the glass-based article extending from a first surface of the glass-based article to a second surface of the glass-based article, and applying an etching solution to the glass-based article to form the via. The etching solution includes at least one acid and a positive charge organic molecule. An etch rate at the first surface and the second surface is lower than an etch rate at the damage track.

  • Publication number: 20190161784
Abstract: Computer-implemented processes for precision therapeutic biomarker screening for cancer include using a model-based overlapping clustering framework to assess large numbers of possible drugs and drug combinations against patient data, including cell line responsiveness. A multivariate regression model has been developed, along with a latent overlapping cluster indicator variable. The techniques employ a new finite mixture of multivariate regression (FMMR) model and expectation-maximization (EM) algorithm for modeling. The techniques can analyze large amounts of drug data and identify complex overlapping drug clusters, as well as cluster-wise drivers that facilitate identification of new drugs for treating pathologies, such as cancer, in patients.

  • Patent number: 10303402
Abstract: A data storage device includes at least one data storage medium and a controller that is operably coupled to the at least one data storage medium. The controller receives the bit stream in a data storage device and performs a first level of compression on the received bit stream to obtain a symbol frame including a plurality of symbols. The controller encodes an initial portion of the plurality of symbols contained in the symbol frame by a fixed encoding scheme. The controller also collects statistics for the initial portion of the symbol frame. The controller then selects at least one data compression algorithm based on the collected statistics. The controller then performs compression encoding on a remaining portion of the symbol frame with the selected at least one data compression algorithm.

  • Publication number: 20190142892
Abstract: The invention relates to a chemosynthetic cyclo-hepta modified peptide capable of inhibiting toxins of Staphylococcus aureus and a use thereof. The chemosynthetic peptide can specifically inhibit production of the toxins of Staphylococcus aureus by means of the binding of the RNAIII activator protein by a Staphylococcus aureus autocrine. The invention also relates to the use of the chemosynthetic peptide in the pharmaceutical field. The sequence general formula of the chemosynthetic cyclo-hepta modified peptide is CH3—(CH2)m-X-G-(C-Q-H—W—W—H—W—Y—C)—(R)n-Y. The results show that the modified peptide can be dissolved well in water and has good activity against the toxins of Staphylococcus aureus.

In one aspect, the device is an on-body device. In one aspect, the system comprises a positioning aperture, an illuminating apparatus, an imaging apparatus, and/or a processing apparatus. In one aspect, the process only takes a short period of time to take images of the sclera without any operation of splicing multiple images. In one aspect, the device or system improves the quality of images by avoiding the formation of reflection of the illuminating apparatus on the images of the sclera. In a further aspect, the system can utilize the sclera images to obtain information of eye diseases and to predict the physiological and pathological changes in the health status of subject or diagnostic results, which can provide helpful information for medical diagnosis.
