    Abstract: An electronic apparatus according to various embodiments comprises: a display; and a processor, wherein the processor may be configured to: based on an input of handwriting data using a stylus pen being detected in a second input area including a first input area, in a first state of waiting for an input of handwriting data, convert the input handwriting data to text data; switch to a second state of displaying the converted text data as preview data in the first input area while the input handwriting data is displayed in the second input area; and based on the end of an input of the handwriting data being detected, determine the text data displayed as the preview data as input data and switch to a third state of displaying the converted text data in the first input area.
