    Abstract: The present invention provides a base film of modified polyvinyl alcohol polymer as well as a method for preparing the base film of modified polyvinyl alcohol polymer and a polarizer made from the base film. The method includes steps of: (1) executing surface graft modification of nano-silicon dioxide particles with fluorinated silane to obtain a modified nano-silicon dioxide powder; (2) adding the modified nano-silicon dioxide powder obtained from the step (1) to an aqueous solution of polyvinyl alcohol polymer, in order to prepare a composite solution of polyvinyl alcohol polymer; and (3) pouring the composite solution of polyvinyl alcohol polymer prepared from the step (2) onto a surface of a casting substrate to obtain a base film of modified polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) polymer. The present invention enhances the heat and humidity resistances and the stability of the PVA base film, and improves its mechanical performance and sticking-resistance.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a potentiometric titration method for measuring concentration of acid mixture of aluminum etchant, which prepares identified potassium hydroxide-ethanol solution or sodium hydroxide-ethanol solution as a titrant and uses a monohydric alcohol and a diol as an anhydrous medium for the acid mixture of aluminum etchant to carry out titration of the acid mixture of aluminum etchant so as to realize measurement of concentration of each acid contained in the acid mixture of aluminum etchant through a one-stage process of potentiometric titration thereby reducing the complication of operation of inspection and uncertainty of inspection result and achieving the purposes of carrying out inspections with high precision and high performance. The method can efficiently and accurately measure the concentrations of nitric acid, phosphoric acid, and acetic acid contained in the acid mixture of aluminum etchant.

    Abstract: A sealant of a liquid crystal panel and a modification method therefor are disclosed. The sealant contains modified epoxy resins which is formed by a cross-linking and curing reaction between isocyanate-terminated tri-functional monomers and epoxy monomers. The modified epoxy resin has a plurality of trifurcate cross-linking long-chain structures, and each of the trifurcate cross-linking long-chain structures has three isocyanate groups, each of which is flexibly linked to one or more molecular groups of epoxy resin. The modified epoxy resin can enhance the adhesion property of the epoxy resin with surfaces of glass substrates and the stress-and-cracking resistance of the epoxy resin, while it can efficiently prevent from the miscible material problem between the epoxy resin and the liquid crystal material, so as to relatively lower the possibility of contaminating the liquid crystal material.
