    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a display device and a driving method of a display device. In one embodiment, the display device includes: a display panel having a plane area and at least one curved area outside of the plane area; a timing controller; and a data driver. The timing controller includes: an image analyzer which analyzes a portion of the image signal corresponding to the at least one curved area and a luminance controller which controls the portion of the image signal corresponding to the at least one curved area to increase a luminance of the at least one curved area. The luminance of the at least one curved area may be increased based on the viewing angle to increase the luminance uniformity of the display panel, thereby minimizing the deterioration of the image quality due to the curved area.
