    Abstract: The present invention provides a multimass MEMS gyroscope featuring an orthogonal arrangement, which comprises an anchor point unit, a sensing unit and a driving unit; the anchor point unit comprises a central anchor point subunit located at the center of a rectangle and four corner anchor points located at the four corners of the rectangle respectively; the sensing unit comprises four detection mass blocks each of which has a frame structure and is elastically connected between the central anchor point subunit and the corresponding corner anchor point, receding spaces being formed between the detection mass blocks, and four detection decoupling parts; and the driving unit comprises four driving mass blocks, and driving decoupling parts. The gyroscope can improve the arrangement area of transducers and reduce the mass of the detection mass blocks to improve the Coriolis gain, thereby improving the mechanical sensitivity of the gyroscope.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a capacitive micromechanical acceleromete. The capacitive micromechanical acceleromete includes a base with anchor points, at least one detection structure pair arranged on one side of the base and elastically connected to the anchor points, and a detection electrode spaced apart from each detection structure pair. Each detection structure pair includes two seesaw structures elastically connected to the base respectively. The seesaw structures are asymmetric about a rotation axis where the anchor points are located; asymmetric portions of the two seesaw structures are reversed and parallel. In a detection modality, changing directions of spacings formed between the two seesaw structures and the detection electrode are opposite. The capacitive micromechanical acceleromete can reduce the impact of the noise of the angular acceleration of the external rotation or the stress and other external factors on the detection of the accelerometer, and improving the detection accuracy.

    Abstract: The present application describes systems and methods for authenticating rechargeable batteries in a rechargeable battery cabinet. The rechargeable battery cabinet may be a part of a large, scalable, distributed network of rechargeable battery cabinets, in which rechargeable battery cabinets may be removed or added based on consumer demand for fresh batteries. The system and methods may track the rechargeable batteries and where they are located in the rechargeable battery cabinets by first assigning a dynamic identification number, such that a rechargeable battery compartment does not need a static identifier. The system and method may allow for real-time reading of the status of rechargeable battery cabinets and rechargeable batteries in the system. Each rechargeable battery may have a static identifier to uniquely identify the rechargeable battery. This system and method allows for efficient scaling and identification of rechargeable battery within the system.

The assembly unit from the top to bottom integrates first electrode plate, first separator plate, second electrode plate, second separator plate and another first electrode plate. The polarity of the first and second electrode plate is opposite to each other. The edges of the first and second separator plates join on one side forming U shape structure. The electrode assembly in this embodiment is a unit for multiple stacking of such to form the internal structure of a battery cell. Such design offers improved efficiency in cell manufacturing and achieves accurate alignments between positive and negative electrodes. The assembly unit upon numerous stacking would ensure overall alignments of positive and negative electrodes for cell quality improvement.

In one novel aspect, microstructures are formed on surfaces of the LED package such that light extract efficiency is improved. In one embodiment, the LED package has a silicone-encapsulating layer scattered with phosphors. In another embodiment, the LED package has a leadframe substrate. The microstructure can be micro lens, micro dents, micro pillars, micro cones, or other shapes. The microstructures can be periodically arranged or randomly arranged. In one novel aspect, the compression molding process is used to form rough surfaces. The molding block or the release film is modified with microstructures. In another novel aspect, sandblasting process is used. In one embodiment, microstructures are formed on sidewalls using the sandblasting process. The hardness, the angle, and/or the size of the blasting media are selected to improve the efficiency of the LED package.

    Abstract: Methods and apparatus are provided to improve long-term reliability of LED packages using reflective opaque die attach (DA) material. In one novel aspect, a protected area surrounding edges of the LED is determined. The DA is applied to the determined protected area by a dispense process, a stamping process, or a screen printing process, such that the effect of temperature degradation is reduced. A heat distribution model is used to determine the protected area, which is between edges of the LED and a predefined isothermal line where the temperature is 1/e that of the temperature at edges of the LED. In another embodiment, the protected area is further based on a spreading ratio of the substrate size to the LED size. In another novel aspect, with multiple LEDs in the LED package, the spreading ratio is further based on pitch distances to the immediate adjacent LEDs and the substrate boundary.
