  • Patent number: 8179187
Abstract: A method for passive cancellation of substrate noise for a buck converter uses an on-chip capacitor to reduce the substrate noise. The capacitor achieves a close-magnitude noise with opposite phase for better noise cancellation effect in the substrate. The capacitor can be realized as a MOS capacitor, NMOS isolation ring n-well capacitor, n-well junction capacitor, isolated p-well junction capacitor, etc. The capacitor is easy to implement. Further, bond wire parasitic inductance in the buck converter is used to reduce substrate noise.

  • Patent number: 7940092
Abstract: An H bridge circuit includes a gate driver circuit coupled to a gate of an NMOS device. The output of the gate driver circuit is at a voltage from 0.1V to 0.4V during a dead time of the H bridge circuit. The gate voltage of the NMOS device is biased at 0.1˜0.4V to overcome the problems of minority carrier injection and power dissipation as compared with VG=0 in a conventional H bridge circuit.

  • Patent number: 7876198
Abstract: An adaptive intelligent electronic horn (100) comprises a mechanical soniferous apparatus (112), an electromagnetic coil (106), a driver circuit (104) and an oscillating circuit (102). A sensor (110) is provided between the mechanical soniferous apparatus (112) and the oscillating circuit (102). An on-off ratio adjusting circuit (108) is provided at the input end of the oscillating circuit (102). The sensor (110) measures the oscillation frequency of the mechanical soniferous apparatus (112) and feedbacks the measured oscillation frequency signal to the oscillating circuit (102). The on-off ratio adjusting circuit (108) controls a pulse width of an oscillation signal from the oscillating circuit (102) based on a voltage of power supply and/or an ambient temperature. The oscillating circuit (102) outputs corresponding oscillation signal to the driver circuit (104) based on the oscillation frequency signal received from the sensor (110) and/or the control signal from the on-off ratio adjusting circuit (108).

  • Publication number: 20100213990
Abstract: A MOSFET pre-driver circuit with highly adjustable drive current for a high frequency switching power MOSFET circuit decreases the peak of the drive current and power loss of the pre-driver while maintaining power loss of the power stage so that total power loss is decreased and circuit efficiency is increased. A resistor arranged in series with a source of the MOSFET of the pre-driver circuit is provided to adjust the drive current.

  • Publication number: 20060243994
Abstract: A light-emitting diode lamp consists of a lampwick including one or more light-emitting diode chips and a reflector. Light-emitting surface of the light-emitting diode chips on the lampwick faces to the curved reflection surface of the reflector, and forms an angle of 0-90° with respect to the axis of the reflector. Preferably, the reflector consists of one or more paraboloidal reflective mirrors. The axis of the paraboloidal surface parallels to the axis of the reflector and is evenly arranged at equal distance centered at the axis of the reflector. Each light-emitting diode chip or chip-group corresponds to one paraboloidal reflective mirror, and is positioned on a focal point of the paraboloidal reflective mirror. Such lamp has the advantages of narrow illuminating angle and high luminance intensity.
