  • Patent number: 11604229
Abstract: Techniques for determining a state of health of an energy storage device that utilize a capacitor gain amplifier to provide an AC gain and block the DC voltage. An input capacitor can couple between an input excitation signal generator circuit and the amplifier's inverting input terminal, and a feedback capacitor can couple between the amplifier's inverting input terminal and the amplifier's output. A switch can be used to reset the feedback capacitor periodically to prevent the amplifier's output from becoming saturated from a leakage current at the inverting input terminal of the amplifier.

  • Publication number: 20220290274
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method for numerical simulation of reactive transport during CO2+O2 in-situ leaching of uranium at a sandstone-type uranium deposit. Unlike the traditional method for numerical simulation of solute transport during in-situ leaching of uranium with consideration of only convection and diffusion, the method permits establishment of a multi-field coupled reactive solute transport model to simulate the dynamic leaching process of a sandstone-type uranium deposit in Northern China. The method provided in the present disclosure includes: creating a thermodynamic database suitable for CO2+O2 leaching of a sandstone-type uranium deposit in Northern China, and with consideration of the dynamic reaction process of uranium dissolution under combined action of oxygen O2 (aq) and bicarbonate HCO3?, performing numerical simulation of reactive transport during CO2+O2 in-situ leaching of uranium using a TOUGHREACT simulation technology framework.

Abstract: The present invention further discloses an application of Saccharomyces cerevisiae in the fermentation of a second generation fuel, ethanol, with a straw lignocellulose biomass hydrolysate as a raw material. Experiments prove that the strain of the prevent invention has an efficient co-fermentation capacity of C6/C5 while tolerating multiple inhibitors, and can consume all the glucose and xylose to produce ethanol; and the sugar-alcohol conversion rate is up to 0.43 g g?1. The strain and screening strategy used in the present invention provide technical reference and basis for the further breeding of a Saccharomyces cerevisiae strain which has a superior fermenting property and is produced by the second generation fuel, ethanol.

  • Patent number: 11108404
Abstract: The techniques of this disclosure can cancel or reduce the kT/C noise directly before the gain stage. The effect of the kT/C noise can be greatly reduced, allowing both lower noise conversion and smaller sampling capacitors, which can reduce the die area and reduce the power consumption of the ADC.

  • Patent number: 10742480
Abstract: A Management-as-a-Service (MaaS) agent running on a client network creates a reverse session-origination (RSO) tunnel between the client network and a MaaS server. The MaaS agent collects client statistics at and regarding the client network and transmits the client statistics to the MaaS server. The MaaS server analyzes the client data and sends alerts or other messages to a user, who may be outside the client network, in the event certain conditions are met.

  • Patent number: 10720933
Abstract: Comparator input noise or offset suppression can include an error detector circuit that can operate in a feedback loop, such as during an autozero phase. The error detector circuit can include a time-varying filter response to improve accuracy and convergence time. The comparator can be used in a successive approximation routine (SAR) or other analog-to-digital converter (ADC) circuit, such as to control a digital-to-analog converter (DAC), such as can be used to adjust a tuning circuit within the comparator to compensate for noise or offset. The DAC can be combined with a DAC used for carrying out SAR bit-trials or bit decisions.

  • Patent number: 10715160
Abstract: Noise sources in an ADC circuit can include kT/C noise of a sampling capacitor, noise coupling on to sampling capacitors from digital circuits, and amplifier noise. Also, charge injection from mismatch in sample switches can cause offsets. These various noise sources can be largely canceled or reduced using described techniques. As a result, the size of the sampling capacitors can be greatly reduced, while still achieving significantly improved noise performance and power efficiency for the overall converter.

  • Patent number: 10608655
Abstract: Various background calibration techniques to calibrate inter-stage gain, e.g., in pipelined ADCs, are described to allow open loop amplifier circuits to be used as residue amplifiers for better power efficiency. Using various techniques, a well-controlled perturbation can be injected between two conversions and the actual perturbation after a residue amplifier can be measured. By comparing the actual measurement against an expected value, the gain information of the residue amplifier can be estimated and then calibration can be applied.

  • Patent number: 10333543
Abstract: Techniques that allow application of noise-shaped dither without applying dither at sampling, resulting in the analog-to-digital converter (ADC) circuit advantageously being balanced during acquisition. Balancing the ADC circuit at acquisition can reduce the risk of sampling digital interferences that can couple in through the references or substrates.

  • Patent number: 10284631
Abstract: A Management-as-a-Service (MaaS) agent running on a SOPS creates collecting management statistics relating to the health, utilization, and performance of a subscriber on-premises system (SOPS). The MaaS agent forwards the collected data to a MaaS server, which stores the data in association with a tenant identifier (TID) in a multi-tenant database. The MaaS server tags user queries with the TID, so that the query result is based on management data for the respective SOPS, to the exclusion of SOPS associated with different TIDs. The use of multi-tenant techniques with non-multi-tenant SOPS allows one MaaS to manage plural SOPS while maintaining isolation of the management data for the respective SOPS. In addition, the use of multi-tenant techniques allows SOPS to be managed together with cloud-based subscriber applications, facilitating common management of hybrid cloud and on-premises systems.

  • Patent number: 9941897
Abstract: A higher accuracy ADC circuit (e.g., in which the number of bits of the ADC circuit is twelve or greater) may need calibration multiple times during its working life to avoid bit weight errors.
