Abstract: A method for negotiating and transmitting location update time length information, applied in a Wimax network architecture, comprises: a mobile station initiating a request for initially accessing a network, a request for entering an idle mode, or a request for a location update to a services access service network gateway; when receiving said request, said services access service network gateway negotiating an idle mode timer length, and notifying said mobile station of the negotiated idle mode timer length. The present invention can implement the negotiation and transmission of location update time length information between access service network gateways as well as between an access service network gateway and a mobile station in a Wimax network so that the location update time lengths of the network side and the mobile station maintain consistent.

Abstract: A method for paging admission control for multi-service flows in a mobile packet domain is provided and comprises steps of when authentication of a mobile station accessing a connectivity service network through an access service network succeeds, assigning a service flow paging strategy for a downlink service flow of the mobile station, and sending the service flow paging strategy to the access service network; receiving, by the access service network, downlink data of a mobile station in IDLE state from a home agent, searching for a downlink service flow to which the downlink data belong, and judging whether the service flow admits paging according to the service flow paging strategy, and if yes, initiating a paging flow triggered by the downlink data.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for communicating between communication apparatuses and a communication unit. The method includes: sending, by a first communication apparatus, a first request for establishing a Peer to Peer (P2P) connection to a second communication apparatus through a server; initiating, by the first communication apparatus or the second communication apparatus, a command for establishing a P2P connection with the other side; establishing directly a P2P channel between the first communication apparatus and second communication apparatus based on the command for establishing a P2P channel and transmitting data packets over the P2P channel. In the present invention, a P2P channel is directly established between the communication apparatuses to communicate, so data can be forwarded without a server. Thus, the load of the server may be reduced and information interaction rate of users may be improved.
