    Abstract: The embodiments of the present disclosure disclose subsurface scattering calculation method for translucent material rendering, which relates to the clipping and polynomial fitting of brute-force Monte Carlo photon tracking experimental results to accurately represent the energy attenuation of subsurface scattering in distance. On this basis, an average free path and a single scattering rate are used to determine the relationship of each term in the multinomial fitting formula so as to facilitate the calculation and adjustment of the reflection profile. In the end, through a new real-time importance sampling solution, the outgoing radiation from any point on the object surface is calculated by the Monte Carlo method. This importance sampling solution is also applicable to any other subsurface scattering calculation model. By combining this subsurface scattering calculation result with other results, such as highlight reflection, any translucent material object can be rendered accurately and efficiently.

    Abstract: A method for manufacturing a PCB with an embedded thermal conductor and a PCB are provided. A sheet of copper-clad ceramic serves as a thermal conductor. A sheet of copper foil having no opening serves as an outer layer of a laminate. A part of the sheet of copper foil covering the thermal conductor is removed after a lamination process, to expose a conductive layer as the outer layer of the thermal conductor. Finally, the outer layer pattern is formed. The sheet of copper foil has no opening before the lamination process, so that the sheet of copper foil has good flatness during the lamination process, thereby avoiding wrinkles. Moreover, the sheet of copper-clad ceramic serves as the thermal conductor, so that a pattern is manufactured on the outer layer of the thermal conductor based on the exposed conductive layer.

    Abstract: The present invention teaches a film having a pattern of protruding structures. When used in the vacuum packaging bag material context, the result is a vacuum packaging bag that a consumer can effectively evacuate and hermetically seal. The protruding structures tend to form channels that enable gas to evacuate from within a vacuum packaging bag. In certain embodiments, the protruding structures are formed only on an inner side of the vacuum packaging film, typically through a hot casting or heat-extrusion process. As a result, far less bag material is required than in the prior art patterned film formed through cold embossing processes. The present invention also contemplates a variety of applications for the films, including preformed bags and bag rolls, as well as a variety of apparatus for manufacturing the films and appliances for utilizing the bags and bag rolls.
