Abstract: There is provided an apparatus, method, and computer-readable medium. The apparatus comprises interconnect circuitry to couple a device to one or more processing elements and to one or more storage structures. The apparatus also comprises stashing circuitry configured to receive stashing transactions from the device, each stashing transaction comprising payload data and control data. The stashing circuitry is responsive to a given stashing transaction whose control data identifies a plurality of portions of the payload data, to perform a plurality of independent stashing decision operations, each of the plurality of independent stashing decision operations corresponding to a respective portion of the plurality of portions of payload data and comprising determining, with reference to the control data, whether to direct the respective portion to one of the one or more storage structures or whether to forward the respective portion to memory.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes receiving a request to establish at least a portion of a media session between a session exchange device and a network entity based on at least a portion of a session description. The session exchange device and the network entity being associated with a media over internet protocol (MoIP) network. The method includes receiving an indicator at the session exchange device that the portion of the session description is not associated with a predefined data-transfer-rate value. A request for a user-defined data-transfer-rate value is sent in response to the indicator.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer readable media for verifying the availability of an IP media router during a call setup are described. In one embodiment, the method comprises receiving, from a first endpoint device, a call setup signaling message requesting to establish a call session with a second endpoint device. The method also includes selecting a first media router to establish a first call leg of the call session, performing a route query and MAC address resolution to determine if the first media router is available, and if the first media router is determined to be available, creating a first redirect stream to communicate media packets received from the second endpoint device to the first endpoint device via the first call leg.
