  • Publication number: 20250150022
Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to roofing systems, for example, suitable for covering the roof of a house or other building. The present disclosure relates more particularly to a roofing system including first and second group of roofing panels. Each roofing panel of the first group is a solar roofing panel and includes a light transmissible front layer, a back layer, photovoltaic cells disposed between a rear surface of the front layer and a front surface of the back layer, and a color-matching surface disposed behind the front layer. Each roofing panel of the second group is a cuttable non-solar roofing panel and includes a cuttable substrate. Visual characteristics of a front face of the roofing panels of the first group and a front face of roofing panels of the second group match.

  • Publication number: 20240426032
Abstract: A non-shedding hybrid nonwoven web comprised of 99% by mass of functional material(s) co-mingled with the filaments. High level of particle retention within the fabric is provided without the aid of adhesives, binders, adhesive polymers, or post processes. This composite web has a multi-layered structure with a uniform distribution of sorptive particles and desired opposed color contrast on each side. The process includes providing two converging streams of blown polymeric filaments, passive feed of functional material(s) in between the filament streams, and collecting the hybrid webs.

  • Publication number: 20230045972
Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to roofing systems, for example, suitable for covering the roof of a house or other building. The present disclosure relates more particularly to a roofing system that includes a plurality of riser blocks disposed on a support surface. The riser blocks include a group that is aligned in a row. A batten extends along the row and is supported by the group of riser blocks. The batten includes a first clip portion. A group of roofing panels is disposed along the row and is supported by the batten. Further, each of the roofing panels of the group includes a front surface, a rear surface, and a second clip portion extending from the rear surface. The second clip portion is configured to engage the first clip portion of the batten so as to secure the roofing panels to the batten.

  • Patent number: 11504823
Abstract: Articles and methods regarding the making and use of low-shedding nonwoven abrasive articles, such as abrasive wheels and hand pads, that have a low shed rate and achieve a high grind ratio. The abrasive articles comprise a blend of a plurality of primary abrasive particles and a plurality of reinforcing abrasive particles that is disposed on a nonwoven web substrate. The primary abrasive particles have an average particle size equal to or larger than the average fiber diameter of the substrate fibers, and the reinforcing abrasive particles have an average particle size smaller than the average fiber diameter.
