    Abstract: Garments and methods are provided for carrying an infant in skin-to-skin contact. In one exemplary embodiment, a garment can have a back panel and two front panels. The front panels can be configured to overlap and adjustably couple together such that the front panels can securely hold a baby against a wearer's chest. One of the front panels can have a pocket formed on an interior surface thereof that is configured to prevent a baby from slipping out of the garment. The garment can also have an adjustable belt configured to be positioned around the garment. The belt can provide additional support to the garment for securely holding a baby against a wearer's chest.
