  • Patent number: 11397201
Abstract: A circuit assembly for monitoring a sinusoidal alternating voltage signal having a comparing element receiving at an input the signal with period T and generating a first output signal at an output based upon the signal exceeding a threshold; a zero crossing detector receives at its input the signal and generates a output signal at its output; a timing element connected to zero crossing detector generates a clock signal dependent on the second output signal; and a flip-flop. The comparing element output is connected to a state-controlled input of the flip-flop and the timing element output is connected to an edge-controlled input of the flip-flop. The flip-flop generates a state signal at its output. The timing element specifies a state change of the clock signal at an instant that differs from the instant at T/4 after a zero crossing of the signal.

  • Publication number: 20200301866
Abstract: A bus subscriber includes: a first logic unit; a second logic unit; a monitoring circuit; a transmission unit; and a first test line. The bus subscriber is adapted such that the first logic unit communicates with a bus via the transmission unit in a communication phase and the monitoring circuit emits a monitoring signal to the transmission unit upon a fault so that the transmission unit blocks the communication. The first and/or the second logic unit is coupled to the monitoring circuit via the first test line so as to emit a first test signal to the monitoring circuit.

  • Publication number: 20200191838
Abstract: A switching arrangement for monitoring AC signals includes: one or a plurality of comparators, to which an AC signal to be monitored or a signal obtained therefrom is feedable in each case at a first comparison input, for comparison with a defined amplitude threshold value present at a second comparison input, so as to generate a first output signal at an output; a zero crossing detector, to which a reference signal or a signal obtained therefrom is feedable at a monitoring input, so as to generate a second output signal at an output of the zero crossing detector; a first timing element downstream of the zero crossing detector configured to generate a first clock signal as a function of the second output signal; and a second timing element downstream of the zero crossing detector configured to generate a second clock signal as a function of the second output signal.

  • Patent number: 7359433
Abstract: The invention relates to a data transmission system for the serial asynchronous data transmission between two devices (1; 3). The aim of the invention is to provide a secure data transmission system for the communication between two devices that can be produced with as little technical effort as possible. To this end, two circuit parts that are interconnected by means of a two-wire circuit (8) are used which are provided with respective receiver circuit elements (2b; 4b) and respective emitter circuit elements (2a; 4a). The inventive system also comprises a source of current (6) via which a current (1q) can be fed to the data transmission line (8a) so that signal states can be modified depending on the input signals of the circuit parts while at the same time parts of the circuits are supplied with current.
