  • Patent number: 7940021
Abstract: A motor sensing circuit with transient voltage suppression includes a sensing unit and an impulse absorber. The sensing unit has an electrical switch generating a pulse sensing signal when switching and a signal output terminal electrically connecting to the electrical switch and outputting said pulse sensing signal. The impulse absorber has a first terminal connecting to the signal output terminal of the sensing unit and a second terminal being grounded. Consequently, the impulse absorber is able to provide a route for a transient current to be drained away, with the transient current being generated by an impulse inputted the motor sensing circuit through the signal output terminal.

  • Publication number: 20090175744
Abstract: A mini-fan with an easy-starting structure is proposed, which includes a fan housing a rotor, and a bottom. The fan housing has a plurality of coils, a control unit, and at least one globe-shaped attractor, with the at least one globe-shaped attractor being made of conductive magnetic material and arranged between adjacent two of the coils. The rotor has a permanent magnet ring facing the coils of the fan housing and having at least one pair of opposite magnetic poles, with each magnetic pole providing a high-intensity area. Consequently, one of the high-intensity areas is attracted by and faces the at least one globe-shaped attractor when the rotor is held at a stop position.

  • Publication number: 20080174956
Abstract: A mini-sized heat-dissipating module includes a miniature heat-dissipating plate and a miniature fan unit. The miniature heat-dissipating plate has an assembling space, at least one airflow channel and at least one engaging portion. The assembling space and the airflow channel are provided on a top surface of the miniature heat-dissipating plate, wherein the assembling space is arranged at an end of the airflow channel. The miniature fan unit has an air inlet, an air outlet, a fan wheel and at least one engaging portion. The engaging portion of the miniature fan unit is engaged with that of the miniature heat-dissipating plate when assembled. An adhesive layer is further provided to combine the miniature fan unit with the miniature heat-dissipating plate.

  • Publication number: 20080152489
Abstract: A heat dissipating fan with a wire retaining device includes a housing having a first end wall and a second end wall respectively on two ends thereof. A peripheral wall is formed between the first and second end walls. At least one of the first and second end walls includes a slot extending from a side through the other side thereof. A restraining member includes a first end fixed to the peripheral wall and a second, free end not connected to the peripheral wall, forming a guide opening between the free end of the restraining member and the peripheral wall. A conductive wire is insertable through the guide opening into a space between the restraining member and the peripheral wall.

  • Publication number: 20040000883
Abstract: The dual current-limiting circuit for dc brushless motor includes an over-current detective circuit, an operation detective circuit, and a current-limiting circuit. The over-current detective circuit produces a voltage signal being used to determine whether the motor has been input over current. The operation detective circuit also produces a voltage signal being used to determine whether the motor is operated in normal. The current-limiting circuit decides to turn on a first switch of a first current-limiting circuit and to subsequently turn on a second switch of a second current-limiting circuit depending upon the two voltage signals. The current-limiting circuit is capable of suppressing current passing through a coil at low voltage level, which is inadequate to damage a driver circuit and still adequate to restart the motor if the great abnormal input current is eliminated.
