  • Patent number: 8313337
Abstract: An electrical connector includes a plastic base and at least one row of terminals. The plastic base has a connection slot. The at least one row of terminals are disposed in the plastic base. Each of the terminals is formed by bending a plate surface of a metal sheet, and has an elastic arm, a fixing portion and a pin. The fixing portion is fixed to the plastic base, the elastic arm has a connection point disposed in the connection slot, and the pin extends out of the base. A cut surface of the elastic arm forms the connection point, and the elastic arm elastically moves in a plate surface direction when the connection point is pressed.

  • Patent number: 8251722
Abstract: An electrical connector includes a base, terminals each being disposed on the base and having a contact, and one pair of switch terminals, disposed on the base, including first and second terminals each having a fixing portion, a pin portion and an extension. The base has a connection slot for accommodating an electronic element. The first and second terminals have the fixing portions, each fixed to the base and having a plateless section. The extensions respectively have corresponding connection points. The extension of the first terminal has a pushing portion. The electronic element is inserted into the slot to push the pushing portion to make the extension of the first terminal be elastically moved to touch the switch terminals. Plate surfaces of the fixing portions are arranged in parallel or on the same plane and fixed to the base, and do not overlap with each other.

  • Patent number: 8235740
Abstract: An electrical connector includes a plastic base and an engaging member. The base has a longitudinally extended connection slot to be connected to a circuit board having one side formed with a notch. The engaging member disposed on one side of the base has an elastic arm, which has a handle, a guide-in inclined surface, an engaging portion and an elastic member. When the circuit board is inserted into the slot, the one side thereof presses the guide-in inclined surface to make the arm elastically move outwardly. When the arm elastically moves back, the engaging portion engages with the notch. When the handle is moved to make the arm elastically move outwardly and to disengage the engaging portion from the notch, the elastic member can stop the engaging member from elastically moving back to engage with the notch, so that the circuit board can be conveniently taken out.

  • Patent number: 8172586
Abstract: An electronic card connector includes a base, upper and lower terminals and an ejector including a core, a sliding sheet, a guiding rod and an elastic member. A baffle separates the base into upper and lower slots for respectively accommodating upper and lower cards. The core has a sliding slot, which has one end having a concave positioning point, and the other end having a starting point, such that unidirectional circulation successively from the starting point to the positioning point and then to the starting point is formed. The sheet may slide relatively to the base and has first and second pushing portions respectively disposed in the lower and upper slots. The rod has one end engaged into the sliding slot and is slidable along the sliding slot. The elastic member provides elasticity for moving the sliding sheet into the base and then returning the sheet to a home position.

  • Publication number: 20120009813
Abstract: An electrical connector includes a lower base, an upper base, an engaging structure and a driving mechanism. The lower base has at least a terminal slot for accommodating a terminal. The upper base is disposed over said lower base to cover said lower base. The upper base has no integral and downwardly-extended side plate hooking structure to be engaged with the lower base. The engaging structure is used for engaging the upper base with the lower base, so that the upper base is engaged with said lower base and only permitted to be moved forwardly or backwardly relative to the lower base. The driving mechanism is arranged between the upper base and the lower base for driving movement of the upper base and lower base forwardly or backwardly relative to each other.

  • Publication number: 20110039433
Abstract: A product structure includes a base and an ejector including a core, a sliding sheet, a guiding rod and an elastic member. The core has a sliding slot, which has a circulating path, one end formed with a positioning point, the other end formed with a starting point, and a bottom surface formed with unidirectional stopper blocks, so that the path unidirectionally circulates from the starting point sequentially to the positioning point and to the starting point. The sliding sheet having a pushing portion may slide back and forth relatively to the base. The rod has one end engaged with the slot and can slide along the path. The elastic member provides an elastic force for returning the sliding sheet, after being moved into the base, to a home position. The core has a seat and a metal baseplate, which is engaged with the seat and has the stopper blocks.
