  • Patent number: 5416292
Abstract: The ignition distributor comprises a housing, in which a distributor rotor (4) is rotatably mounted, which comprises a first electrode (9) close to the axis of rotation (5) of the rotor, a second electrode (10) at that end of the rotor which is remote from the axis of rotation, and between said electrodes an electrical line (11), which connects the two electrodes. The housing is closed by a distributor cap (1), which is provided on its inside surface with a plurality of peripherally spaced apart stationary electrodes ( 3 ), which cooperate with the second electrode (10) of the distributor rotor, and also comprises a center electrode (2), which terminates at a small distance from and defines a spark gap with the first electrode (9) of the distributor rotor. One electrode of the pair consisting of the first electrode (9) of the distributor rotor and the center electrode (2) is pinlike and the other electrode (9) does not surround the pinlike electrode (2) or surrounds it around less than its entire periphery.

  • Patent number: 5078103
Abstract: The distributor comprises a rotatably mounted rotor, which has close to its axis of rotation a first electrode and has at its end that is remote from the axis of rotation a second electrode, which is connected by an electric line to the first electrode. The distributor also comprises a housing, which is closed by a cap, which is provided on its inside peripheral surface with a plurality of peripherally spaced apart fixed electrodes for cooperating with the second electrode of the roto. The cap is further provided on its inside surface with a center electrode, which terminates at a distance from the first electrode of the rotor to form a spark gap therewith. To form a positive joint with the cap the embedded portion of the center electrode has a non-cylindrical peripheral surface, which is rounded and free of any edge.

  • Patent number: 4736179
Abstract: An ignition coil (1) for internal combustion engines comprises a magnetic core (4) of the core- of sleeve type, around the main core of which the primary and secondary winding being insulatingly enveloped with a cast material is arranged, the end regions of the main core being connected with each other via a magnetic path located outside the two windings, and having mounting members attached to the magnetic core (4) for mounting the ignition coil (1) to an automobile body. In order to bring the heating of the windings to an equal level and to reduce the heating of the windings, the mounting members are formed of a mounting plate (8) with mounting surface (9) and of at least one frame member (10, 11) integrally formed with the mounting plate (8) which envelopes the magnetic core (4) in a form-locking manner. The frame members (10, 11) can be expediently placed for mounting angularly on the ignition coil (1) and are pivotable in abutment with the surface of the magnetic core (4).

  • Patent number: 4551166
Abstract: The invention relates to a nitrogen fertilizer having a long-term action based on urea-formaldehyde condensation products suspended in water. The fertilizer contains dicyandiamide in an amount of from 5 to 35% by weight of dicyandiamide-nitrogen, based on the nitrogen content of the urea, and from 0.001 to 0.5% by weight of polymers of vinyl alcohol or polymers of aldehyde-carboxylic acids, based on the weight of the suspension.

  • Patent number: 4334810
Abstract: In an apparatus for the cutting, deburring or breaking of the side tooth edges of gears with one or two tools which are located on the side of a guide gear and which machine the aforesaid tooth edges. The guide gear meshes with the workpiece, and, in one embodiment, is constructed as a measuring gear. Prior to the actual machining operation, the distance between the axes of the pretoothed workpiece and the measuring gear is measured independently and is made visible, if desired, on an indicating device. In order to avoid incorrect measurement results due to burrs existing on the workpiece, the guide gear can, if desired, have recesses into which extend the burrs.

  • Patent number: 4137822
Abstract: A mandrel for receiving the tool of a tool machine which has cones on both ends thereof for centering the mandrel in a tool machine spindle. Securing structure is provided for securing the mandrel to the tool machine spindle so that rotational drive is provided therefor. A stop is provided on one end of the mandrel intermediate the two cones and a cylinder-like device is provided at the end remote therefrom but also spaced inwardly from the cones. A piston is reciprocably mounted in the cylinder and engages a tool mounted on the mandrel. An application of pressure to the cylinder will cause an axial movement of the piston to engage the tool to effect a clamping of the tool between the stop and the aforementioned piston.
