  • Patent number: 9161014
Abstract: Method for compensating illumination deficiencies in microscopic “shape from focus (SFF)”, wherein firstly the reflectance of the scene is estimated by way of a projector-camera system and then microscopic “shape from focus (SFF)” is applied to a stack of reflectance maps rather than to the original image data.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 26, 2011
Date of Patent: October 13, 2015
Assignees: Alicona Imaging GmbH, Technische Universität Graz
Inventors: Manfred Prantl, Stefan Scherer, Martin Lenz, Matthias Ruther, Horst Bischof

  • Patent number: 5007186
Abstract: In a device for improving the seal between the cuff (3) of a ski boot (1) or an inner (5) and the leg with a band (6) mounted on boot (1) or on inner (5), said band surrounding boot (1) and the leg and being closable beltwise, band (6) has at least one coupling member (13, 14) for optional mounting on cuff (3) or inner (5) of boot (1), said member being connectable with a matching computing member (11, 14) on cuff (3) or inner (5) of boot (1).
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 2, 1988
Date of Patent: April 16, 1991
Assignee: Koflach Sport Gesellschaft mbH & Co. KG
    Inventors: Horst Bischof, Wolfgang Skerbinjek
  • Patent number: 5005302
Abstract: In a device for holding a foot in a ski boot with a tiltable cuff (2), a shell (3) overlapping the instep, and a projection (8) overlapping the heel area inside shell (3) or cuff (2), a flexible tensioning member (9) is disposed between cuff (2) or shell (3) and projection (8) overlapping the heel area, the free ends (10, 14) of said member running in the direction of the toe of the boot and mounted on shell (3) at a distance from the heel. One free end (14) of tensioning member (9) is then mounted in a lengthwise-adjustable manner, and this end or the other free end (10) of tensioning member (9) is mounted on a closing flap (11) on the front of the boot, especially on a component (6) which bears the attachment point for a toggle buckle (5). (FIG. 1.

  • Patent number: 4977693
Abstract: In a device for damping and limiting the tilting motion of a cuff relative to the shell (2) of a ski boot (1), wherein a damping element is disposed between shell (2) and cuff (3) said element being subjected to pressure when cuff (3) tilts forward, the damping element is made of a molded body (8) of elastomeric material that is triangular or trapezoidal when viewed from above, with molded body (8) preferably being disposed in a housing (6) on or in shell (2).
