Abstract: To prevent dusting of a solid such as a crop protection agent, a pharmaceutical or a dyestuff, there is added thereto as a dustproofing agent a compound of the formula I ##STR1## in which Z represents Z.sub.1 or Z.sub.2 whereZ.sub.1 denotes a bivalent radical of the formula ##STR2## in which W represents a direct bond or a C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 unit, andZ.sub.2 represents unsubstituted arylenedioxy, wherein the remaining variables are defined herein.

Abstract: The novel process for working up solutions or suspensions of organic synthesis products having a pH value of <3, preferably <1, is carried out with the aid of an asymmetrical, semipermeable membrane composed of cyclic polyureas with repeating structural units of the formula (I) ##STR1## wherein the substituents R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4, R.sup.5, X and Y and the index n are each as defined in the description.

Abstract: In a composite plain thrust journal bearing is provided, in the inner rim of the thrust bearing part, at least one retaining lug (5) with which is associated at least one splay finger (6). In the rim area (7) of the journal bearing part are provided for the retaining lug a recess (13) and a recess (18) for a splay finger which is formed, at least in an end region, into a receiving slot (8), which is axially delimited by a hook-shaped projection (9). When the thrust bearing part (2) is positioned on the journal bearing part (1), the retaining lug (5) is engaged into the recess (13) and the splay finger into the recess (18) for a splay finger, and then the splay finger (6) is, under permanent deformation introduced into the receiving slot (8) behind the hook-shaped projection (9). This method of attachment offers defined limited mutual movability of the journal bearing part (3) and the thrust bearing part (2) while ensuring reliable connection of the two parts to each other.

Abstract: A compound journal and thrust plain bearing comprises a half-liner-shaped or bush-shaped journal bearing part and a part-ring-shaped thrust bearing part or a set of part-ring-shaped thrust bearing parts attached at one or both ends thereof, while every thrust bearing part comprises on its inner peripheral rim a plurality of inwardly extending retaining projections which are angularly spaced from each other and which are inserted into a recess provided in the region of the arcuate or circular margin of the journal bearing part.

Abstract: To prepare storage-stable, low-dusting dyestuff granules which are readily soluble in plastics, a suspension of the dyestuff containing 0.1-5% by weight of a polyglycol are dried while being granulated.

Abstract: Mixtures of dyestuffs of the formulae I to IV ##STR1## wherein the radicals have the meanings customary in dyestuff chemistry, are excellent substitute products for the expensive anthraquinone dyestuff Disperse Blue 56.

Abstract: Low-dust, storage-stable granules are obtained in a continuous operating process in which the powder to be granulated is granulated in succession in a high-speed and low-speed mixing granulator, with the addition of a granulating liquid, and is then dried in a fluidized bed into which a liquid containing a binder is sprayed. The process is particularly suitable for the preparation of dyestuff granules which can easily be dispersed in the use medium.

Abstract: Navy polyester dyeings which are produced by means of dyestuff mixtures based on azo dyestuffs from 2,4-dinitro-6-cyanoaniline and 3-acylamino-dialkylaminoanilines are distinguished by a very good wash fastness on using peroxide-containing domestic washing agents. Preferably the dyestuff formulations used contain a weakly acidic buffer system.

Abstract: The azo dyestuff of the formula ##STR1## having the interplanar spacings D/.ANG. 3.13, 3.36, 4.85, 9.26 and 13.94 for the five strongest lines having the relative intensity use 98, 89, 82, 100 and 87 is distinguished, compared to known modifications by an increased dye bath stability.

Abstract: A self-cutting fast construction screw for the fastening of fiber plates to a metal substructure carries on the screw shaft at least one turn of a thread. The screw core passes into a conical drill point. On the conical drill point two cutting edges are arranged in a symmetrical layout, said cutting edges cutting to a diameter located between the diameter of the screw core and the diameter of the outer thread tip. Upon impact on the metal substructure, the two cutting edges break off.

Abstract: Dyestuff mixtures of(a) an anthraquinone dyestuff of the formula ##STR1## (b) a preferably blue azo dyestuff of the formula ##STR2## wherein R.sub.1 =H or halogen,R.sub.2 =alkyl,R.sub.3 =H or alkoxy, andR.sub.4 and R.sub.5 =alkyl or alkenyl,and(c), optionally, shading dyestuffs are particularly inexpensive and are distinguished by good dyebath stability and application properties.

Abstract: Mixed crystals of dyestuffs of the formula I ##STR1## wherein R denotes alkyl andn denotes a number from 2 to 4, and dyestuffs of the formula II ##STR2## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 denote alkyl, with a characteristic X-ray diffraction diagram are distinguished by a high tinctorial strength and liquor stability when they are used for dyeing polyester fibres.

Abstract: Highly concentrated liquid preparations of disperse dyestuffs are obtained with a low consumption of energy by first adding a dispersing agent to the water-moist dyestuff press-cake to convert it into a form in which it is capable of flow, subjecting this product to wet grinding and increasing the dyestuff content of the resulting, insufficiently concentrated dispersion in a second step by means of a membrane separation process, for example pressure permeation.

Abstract: Organic pigments which provide an opaque color impression in binders and exhibit adequate flow properties in binders are obtained from pigments which provide a transparent color impression in binders in a simple way in that an azeotrope-forming agent which is appropriate for the liquid adhering to the pigment is added to the moist pigment obtained after the preparation, and the azeotropic mixture and any excess solvent which may be present are then distilled off.
