  • Patent number: 6161559
Abstract: A separator for separating curable material including liquid, especially residual concrete, residual mortar and the like, having a conveying screw which is disposed in a receiving trough. The rotary axle of the conveying screw extends transversely to the horizontal. The conveying screw increases in diameter, starting from its lower upstream end, and the section of the floor of the receiving trough, which is assigned to the enlarged region of the conveying screw, extends essentially horizontally. The screw has a second following section of decreasing diameter. The floor section at that the second screw section is inclined transversely to the horizontal. An additional screw conveyor may be attached beyond the second section. In an alternate embodiment, the screw has two cylindrical sections of different diameter. A transfer bucket wheel moves material between come of the screw sections.

  • Patent number: 6158627
Abstract: A device feeds curable, liquid containing material, especially residual concrete, residual mortar and the like, to a separator for separating the material into defined individual components. The feeding device includes a receiving trough for the material, in which a conveying screw is rotatably arranged. Through its rotation, the screw conveys the material to the separator. There is a barrier between the receiving trough and the separator which prevents liquid exchange, and that barrier is bridged by a transfer device which enables metered conveyance of the material through the barrier.

  • Patent number: 5778910
Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus for reprocessing residual concrete with a trough (3), conveying equipment (33) with an adjoining bucket wheel (37) and discharging equipment (11). The inventive apparatus is distinguished owing to the fact that the washing-out trough (3) is divided into two mutually separated regions (15, 17), the first region taking up and buffering the residual concrete brought in and the second region functioning as a washing-out trough, and owing to the fact that a further conveying mechanism (31, 35) is provided, which transports material from the first region (15) into the second region (17). Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for reprocessing residual concrete.

  • Patent number: 5601706
Abstract: An apparatus for treating of sewage or waste water comprises an aggregate separator (30, 32, 34). The apparatus includes a waste water reservoir (12), a device (22) for circulating the waste water (16) in the reservoir (12), and a replenishing chamber (38) for the waste water containing the aggregate. The apparatus is characterized in that there is provided at least one settling tank (66) into which the waste water contained in the waste water reservoir (12) can be delivered through a conduit (64), and in that a further conduit (82, 90) is provided between the settling tank (66) and a concrete mixer (61).

  • Patent number: 5560495
Abstract: An apparatus for conveying the aggregate accumulated in the course of reprocessing of residual concrete in a bin is described which has a conveyance arrangement (10) of the type of a worm conveyor. The conveyor trough of this work conveyor (10) is configured as a flexible elastic path (16). Apertures exist in this path (16) which are suited for passage of no larger than a predetermined 1magnitude of aggregate which is conveyed out by the worm conveyor.

  • Patent number: 4434868
Abstract: A rear wheel control unit for a two-wheeled vehicle with universal drive mechanism, such as a motorcycle, is disclosed. The rear wheel control unit comprises an axle housing for accommodating a drive unit of the universal drive mechanism of the two-wheeled vehicle in operative connection with the rear wheel of the vehicle. The axle housing has a connecting member for accommodating a shaft of the universal drive mechanism and is pivotably mounted to the frame of the two-wheeled vehicle by first and second wheel control arms arranged in a four-bar linkage. The first wheel control arm is formed as a one-armed oscillating lever articulated on the wheel side with the connecting member of the axle housing. The second wheel control arm serves as a moment support member.
