Abstract: A device for designing knit products to be manufactured on a knitting machine includes at least one storage device for storing data required for the production of the knit products on the knitting machine; at least one display device for displaying design images for the knit products; and at least one input device for altering the design images. Data to be exchanged between the storage, input and display devices is processed to generate at least one knit image presentation and at least one corresponding thread course presentation for display as the design images on the display device, and one of the presentations is simultaneously correspondingly altered as the other is being altered by using the input device.

Abstract: Support arrangement for supporting the arm of a patient in a bent position of the upper arm relative to the lower arm. The support arrangement includes a holding bag, which on an upper side is attachable in a hanging manner to a support. The holding bag forms a bottom side configured for the upper arm and forms a first side configured for the underside of the bent lower arm. The holding bag is made exclusively of textile-like material and consists of a flat cut, folded and sewn up on the upper and lower sides. A second side of the holding bag facing the upper arm is formed so as to be closeable, and at least one cord for closing the second side and at least one fastening cord for fastening the holding sack at its upper side are provided. The holding bag may be formed tapered at its width at least on the upper side. The holding bag may be formed open in the tapered region both on the side facing the upper arm and on the side turned away from the upper arm.

Abstract: The invention relates to a lighter, especially a gas lighter, with a top part, an ignition unit, a preferably regulatable fuel valve and a fuel container having a closing cap. The fuel container is connected to the top part via a manually actuable coupling device (8). The closing cap (6) comprises a mechanically actuable valve arrangement (7) which is actuated when a coupling takes effect between the top part (2) and closing cap (6) or fuel container (3), with the result that a flow connection is made between the fuel container (3) and the top part (2) or ignition unit (9).

Abstract: A device for the control of a flat-bed knitting machine for the positional determination at lift reversal of the carriage assembly driven by a reversible motor has a phase-shifted pulse generator device on the carriage assembly which can be moved back and forth and a stationary pulse generator board device in the area of the needle bed arrangement. With such a device a reproducible lift reversal can be performed in the area of the ends of the needle bed as well as at any desired location along the needle bed arrangement, the pulse generator board device has a pulse generator board extending along a needle bed of the needle bed arrangement.

Abstract: A device for the control of a flat-bed knitting machine for needle selection and/or the determination of the position of the carriages on the needle beds is provided with a pulse generator device having magnetically controllable resistors in the form of double differential magnetoresistors and being fixed on a first machine element, and with a magnetically conductive pulse generator board device being fixed on a second machine element. The two machine elements are movable in relation to each other and the magnetoresistors generate separate and phase-shifted in respect to each other pulse sequences during the relative movement to the pulse generator board device.
