  • Publication number: 20070166108
Abstract: The invention relates to a cylindrical or frustoconical annular element or liner for producing a gully hole or pipe well or a pipe conduit. The outer surface (5) of the annular element (1) is provided with longitudinal ribs (3) which are aligned especially in parallel to the generatrices and/or parallel to the center central axis (7) of the annular element (1). According to the invention, at least two contiguous longitudinal ribs (3) with substantially parallel direction of projection extend from the outer surface (5).

  • Patent number: 6325423
Abstract: The invention relates to an arrangement with a female pipe adapter and/or a female pipe adapter (1) with a first pipe section (5) and a second pipe section (6) that is connected to same and has a larger interior diameter, into which a connector pipe (4) can be inserted, whereby the connector pipe (4) is sealed with a seal (18) whose one end (18′) can be inserted into the second pipe section (6) and is tightly connected via a chucking means (24) to the inside surface (6′) of the second pipe section (6), and whose other end (18″) tightly adjoins the outside surface (19) of the connector pipe (4) or is tightly connected to same with a clamping means (25).

  • Patent number: 5401114
Abstract: In order to prevent the penetration of surface water into a shaft or manhole, the latter is fitted with an insert (5) consisting of a dish-shaped section (9) of impermeable material and the interior space of this dish is connected via connecting ducts (11) with the portion of the shaft or manhole located below the dish (9). The connecting ducts (11) are provided with shut-off devices (12) in the form of spherical floats which act in conjunction with a valve seat (13) to seal off the connecting ducts (11) when the level of liquid in the dish rises (FIG. 1).

  • Patent number: 4483643
Abstract: A canal bed shell for use in a manhole construction consisting at least partially of tubes and carrying a liquid medium has a U-shaped or a V-shaped cross section. On at least one end of the canal bed shell is a continuation defined by a tube portion which is integrally formed with the canal bed shell and which can be tightly connected with one of the tubes. The height of the canal bed shell as measured from the bottom to the upper boundary edge is at least as great as is the internal diameter of said tubes. The canal bed shell passes over in a stepless manner into said tube at least at the area of the bottom of the canal bed shell. If required, the canal bed shell can be arcuately bent and be provided with side-channel crossings. In a preferred form of the invention a berm is formed integral with the canal bed shell and includes a recessed shoulder which receives a vertical shaft element thereon.
