  • Patent number: 10047522
Abstract: A building cover element is described with at least one, preferably stationary arranged fastening device, which comprises an exterior section aligned to the exterior of a building to be provided with the building cover element, comprising at least one film element, which shows an exterior film layer to be arranged at the exterior of the building and anchored with an edge section at the fastening device, and with at least one thermally insulating element. The thermally insulating element is arranged with a first section at the exterior section of the fastening device and with at least one second section resting on the edge section of the exterior film layer of at least one film element.

  • Patent number: 5753301
Abstract: A method for coating a multifocal lens, lens blank, or lens mold is disclosed. The lens, lens blank, or mold is spun about an axis offset from the geometric center thereof. The lens, lens blank, or mold for the lens has at least two focal regions defined by at least one ledge line, and the axis of spinning passes perpendicularly through the ledge line or an extension thereof. A coating is applied during spinning, and spinning is continued until the coating is sufficiently dry that it has adhered with little risk of deformation to the coating on the lens, lens blank, or lens mold upon removal or movement. A lens produced by the method is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 5196968
Abstract: The invention relates to a deck for a magnetic tape cassette apparatus comprising a capstan drive motor and an axially movable servo rod which is driven by a servo motor via a servo drive. The movement of the servo rod controls functional parts of the apparatus such as a head-mounting plate, a loading mechanism, and a switching mechanism, with the aid of a microprocessor which receives switching signals, and a control device for the servo motor. The micrprocessor derives the positions of a servo rod, a mechanical switching member, and an electrical switch and generates control commands for the apparatus based on the position of these elements.

  • Patent number: 4812979
Abstract: A method and apparatus for the operational state analysis of internal combustion engines with electrical ignition systems wherein, following any deviation from normal engine operation, the cause of the deviation is determined and localized in the engine. Provision is made first to ascertain with good time resolution a numerical value of speed by measuring the time interval between two consecutive ignition pulses of different cylinders and then to determine a second numerical value which includes both the count of the number of ignition pulses and the cylinder designation, both numerical values being stored in digital form over a substantial length of time. The engine speeds for the particular cylinders computed from those two numerical values being graphically displayed in the time sequence of the ignitions as an electronically generated stationary image.
