Abstract: In a process known per se for the preparation of white patterns or patterns of various colors on a colored substrate on textile materials comprising hydrophobic synthetic fibres or on textile materials based on mixed fibres composed of polyester and cellulose comprising discharge printing wherein a discharge reserving agent based on an alkali or on sulphites, the improvement which comprises employing as the dischargeable disperse dyestuffs having the formula I ##STR1## in which R and K have the meanings given in claim 1.

Abstract: Improved textile materials are produced having white or variously colored designs on a colored substrate on textile materials containing hydrophobic, synthetic fibers by impregnating the materials with dye liquors containing dyeing and padding auxiliaries as well as dyestuffs dischargeable to white, drying or incipiently drying the impregnated materials and then printing a desired pattern onto the materials with a discharge reserve paste containing a discharging agent, and subsequently subjecting the materials to a heat treatment at temperatures from 100.degree. to 230.degree. C., the improvement comprises the dyestuffs dischargeable to white being dyestuffs of the formula ##STR1## wherein n is a number from 1 to 9; and said discharging agent being a base which produces a pH value of at least 8 in a 5% strength aqueous solution.

Abstract: Printed textiles and a process for production of resist effects on textile materials of mixed fibers of polyester and cellulose comprising impregnating the materials with a dye liquor containing dischargeable disperse dyestuffs and dischargeable reactive dyestuffs which react with the resisting agents, drying or partially drying the materials and subsequently printing a resist paste on the materials, and heat-treating the materials at temperatures of 100.degree. to 190.degree. C.,the improvement comprises said dischargeable disperse dyestuffs are of the formula ##STR1## p0 wherein n is a number of 1 to 9; said dischargeable reactive dyestuffs being those containing reactive moieties of the formula--SO.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --hal,--SO.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --O--SO.sub.3 M,--NH--SO.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --O--SO.sub.3 M or--SO.sub.2 --CH.dbd.CH.sub.

Abstract: Water-insoluble monoazo dyes of the formula ##STR1## produced by reacting a diazotized amine of the benzene, naphthalene, diphenyl, diphenylmethane or heterocyclic series which is free from water solubilizing groups with the appropriate 6-hydroxy-2-pyridone and the utility thereof for the dyeing and printing of synthetic fabric materials to yellow to red shades having excellent fastness to light and sublimation.
