  • Patent number: 5641096
Abstract: The dispenser has a plunger which is pressed downwardly by the user to dispense condiments, such as salt, pepper, sugar, spices, etc. The plunger structure has a dispensing head which passes through an outlet opening in the base of the device. The outlet opening through which the dispensing head passes is sealed by use of a seal structure forming a flexible flap contacting the head. The seal is secured in a base which can be removed to provide a wide opening for refilling the container. The device dispenses a predetermined quantity of condiment with each stroke reliably and with a minimum danger of jamming.

  • Patent number: 4886453
Abstract: The module for an apparatus (system) to produce upper and lower jaw full prostheses has an instrument holder (66) consisting of a baseplate (3), supporting two upright pillars (4) and a tilting arm (6) that can be pivoted on a horizontal axis (5) around the pillars (4), on which auxiliary instruments developed for individual work processes can be adapted. In terms of auxiliary instruments, the module has an infinitely adjustable levelling table (9) set on the baseplate (3), a lower jaw alignment key (10), an impression or mounting plate (7, 8), an upper jaw model alignment key, a domed setting aid for correct setting of teeth on the lower jaw full prosthesis and a domed setting aid with dummy tooth for correct setting of the 1st right and left tooth on lower jaw full prostheses, which can be attached to the instrument holder (66) in a secure position and interchanged.

  • Patent number: 4762490
Abstract: A tooth setting aid arrangement for use for positionally correctly setting artificial teeth in a complete lower denture on a lower jaw model in accordance with a Pound's line includes a holder which is positionally fixable with respect to the lower jaw model and is arched along an imaginary skullcap-shaped surface with a sagittal and transversal compensation curve, and two insert members which are pivotable and shiftable on the holder within the imaginary skullcap surface as well as arrestable in selected positions thereof relative to the holder for adjustment to the Pound's line. The holder is constituted by a bridge member which includes two plate-shaped bridge elements which are juxtaposed with one another and spaced from each other by a distancing element so as to bound an insertion space. Each of the insert members includes a straight portion and two arm portions which extend at an angle from one side of the straight portion.

  • Patent number: 4025424
Abstract: A process for liquid-liquid counterflow extraction based on the mixer-separator principle is disclosed. A dispersion of two liquid phases is fed to a separator and the clear phases are withdrawn therefrom. The dispersions to be separated are fed to the separator in two partial steams equal in rate of flow and flow through the separator in mutually opposite directions along respective paths each having a length equal to one-half of the diameter of the separator. Apparatus for carrying out the process includes inlets for the dispersion to be separated positioned at two opposite points of the periphery of the separator and outlets for the separated clear phases lying on the intervening diametral chord. The outlets and inlets can be reversed.
