  • Patent number: 5963889
Abstract: A method for computer-aided measurement and testing of electrical circuits, and a test rig for carrying out such method, wherein the measurement and control tasks carried out by computer-aided measurement and test equipment during a test process, controlled by test software, for electrical circuits, are split into a data-relevant element, which contains test specification data and test instruction data, and a control-relevant test equipment driver section. The data-relevant element is formed in a text data field (TD) from which the control-relevant information can then be picked off. The invention can be used in all computer-controlled measurement and test rigs with measurement and control tasks as modular product-neutral test software.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 24, 1997
Date of Patent: October 5, 1999
    Assignee: Siemens Aktiengesellschaft

  • Patent number: 4701079
Abstract: A mine roof support has gap seals in the form of L-shaped plates on its roof cap and goaf shield. The side walls of the plates overlap at the junctures between the roof cap and goaf shield and are connected with pivot connections each of which is composed of a pin inserted into apertures in the side walls of the plates. The pin has a peripheral groove at its inner end region which receives an arcuate yoke plate serving as a support. The yoke plate is itself detachably secured in place with a releasable rod permitting the pivot connection to be easily dismantled.

  • Patent number: 4653740
Abstract: An apparatus for the quick clamping of skis of various widths is described, having two parallel guide rods on which a movable clamping jaw is guided. By means of a threaded element and an eccentric lever, the movable clamping jaw is reciprocated in the axial direction and relative to a stationary clamping jaw. In order to attain a substantially constant clamping force with such an apparatus while providing for easy manipulation, a threaded spindle, as the threaded element, is rotatably supported and is joined in a rotationally stiff manner with the eccentric lever via a member which is elastic in the axial direction.
