Abstract: Heat-curable hot-melt enamels, a process for their preparation, and the production of highly heat-resistant wire windings. These heat-curable hot-melt enamels are solutions of a nylon in organic solvents, which contain, as the nylon, a nylon possessing functional amino groups and additionally contain a blocked di- or polyisocyanate. They are useful for the production of highly heat-resistant wire windings.

Abstract: Elastomeric thermoplastic molding materials contain(A) from 5 to 50 parts by volume of a partially or completely crystalline thermoplastic polymer having a melting point of above 160.degree. C., as a coherent phase, and(B) from 95 to 50 parts by volume of one or more crosslinked elastomeric polymers which are prepared by emulsion polymerization, are dispersed in the component A and have a glass transition temperature Tg of below -10.degree. C., the sum of A and B being 100 parts by volume, with the proviso that the mixture of A and B has a Vicat softening temperature, measured according to DIN 53,460, which is 5.degree.-40.degree. C. lower than that of the component A, with or without(C) effective amounts of conventional assistants.

Abstract: Novel nylon molding materials having high impact strength contain, as an additive, a copolymer of ethylene, a primary or secondary C.sub.2 -C.sub.8 -alkyl acrylate or methacrylate and a monomer possessing a (latent) acid functional group, in particular an ethylene/n-butyl acrylate/acrylic acid copolymer.

Abstract: Stabilized melamine resin foams contain, as a stabilizer, a copper or iron compound in an amount corresponding to from 10 ppm to 3%, based on the weight of the melamine resin, of Cu or Fe, preferably an oxide, hydroxide or carbonate of copper.

Abstract: A photopolymerizable recording material for the preparation of relief plates comprises a base and a photopolymerizable layer, which layer contains, as the binder, a substantially linear, high molecular weight, thermoplastic diisocyanate-modified nylon which is solid at room temperature and which possesses quaternary and/or quaternizable nitrogen atoms and also possesses photopolymerizable double bonds in side branches.

Abstract: A flameproofed thermoplastic molding material which possesses good long-term stability and contains 100 parts of a nylon, 10-100 parts of an inorganic filler, 1-12 parts of red phosphorus and 1-40 parts of melamine cyanurate.The molding materials may be used to produce moldings, especially for electrical articles.

Abstract: A flameproofed nylon molding composition which can be processed by thermoplastic methods and which contains, as the flameproofing agent, from 5 to 30% by weight of brominated styrene oligomers and a synergistic metal oxide. The compositions may be used for the manufacture of injection moldings for the electrical industry.
