  • Patent number: 5489884
Abstract: An inductive electric component, in particular an electric transformer, includes a coil body having coil body flanges defining a winding space, and contact pin strips integrally formed onto the coil body flanges, the contact pin strips having extensions and having free ends with undercuts formed therein being limited outwardly by the extensions. A two-part magnet core has halves with center bosses to be pushed together on the coil body with the center bosses engaging the coil body and resting on the coil body flanges and on the contact pin strips. A spring cap is to be slipped onto the magnet core disposed on the coil body for retaining the magnet core halves on the coil body. The cap has a yoke with a middle region. The yoke is concave at least in the middle region, and the yoke has legs on two opposite sides and spring hoops on two other opposite sides. The legs each have detent protrusions locking into the undercuts with the spring cap slipped on.

  • Patent number: 5376824
Abstract: A component or assembly is accommodated in a housing formed of at least two joined housing parts. Terminal legs are conducted toward the outside of the housing. In order to enhance a sealing effect, and thus for protection against internal corrosion, an outside encapsulation of a thermoplastic plastic is applied to the housing by injection molding at least in the region of the joints of the housing and in the exit region of the terminal legs. Particularly given the hermetically tight encapsulation of surface-wave filters, encircling sections having a low wall thickness are provided on the housing parts in their peripheral regions, these sections being fused to the outside encapsulation.

  • Patent number: 5235305
Abstract: A coil body for electrical coils includes a solder terminal strip applied to the coil body flange which has solder eye terminals arranged in a row. One end of the solder eye terminals are in the form of solder eyes for wrapping and winding wire ends of thin wires or for holding the ends of thick wires, and the other end of the solder eye terminals are pins for emplacement into printed circuit boards. The solder eye terminals are in the form of right-angle wires injected into the solder terminal strips, whose one ends are bent U-shaped and are spaced from the solder terminal strips a sufficient distance to enable automatic winding onto the bent U-shaped end.

  • Patent number: 4149135
Abstract: An electrical coil having a protective cap, a round ferrite core, an electrical winding and connective elements, which in assembly is suitable for installation in enveloped layer circuits, is comprised of a round core which is positioned, in one piece, on a ferrite base plate, a protective cap is secured onto the ferrite base plate and a winding is positioned about the core and has wire ends which are brought into contact, within the interior of the protective cap, with the connective elements which have a portion thereof arranged on the base plate surface facing away from the core and outside the interior of the protective cap.
