  • Patent number: 8106773
Abstract: A system and method of identifying objects packaged in electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection packaging is disclosed. The system includes an ESD protection package and a radio frequency identification (RFID) tag. The RFID tag is affixed to the object prior to being inserted into the ESD protection packaging. A RFID interrogation device having a transmitter, an antenna and a receiver is used to interrogate the RFID tag and output the identification data to a display or to a computer. The method includes affixing an RFID tag to an object prior to placement in the ESD protection packaging, providing a RFID interrogation device including an antenna in proximity to the packaged object, and reading the data stored by the RFID tag for identifying the object.

  • Patent number: 5149522
Abstract: The clear aqueous hair and body cleansing composition contains 0.1 to 50 percent by weight lauryl alcohol diglycol ether sulfate and a combination of(A) poly[N-[3-(dimethylammonium)propyl]-N'-[3-(ethylene oxyethylene dimethylammonium)propyl]urea dichloride] and(B) a sulfosuccinateand remains clear when it is thickened with suitable physiologically tolerated salts. This hair and body cleansing composition produces an outstanding ease of combing and a soft, natural feel of the hair and ensures a pleasant, groomed feeling of the skin and a soft, smooth skin.

  • Patent number: 5100656
Abstract: The aqueous hair- and body-treatment composition having physiological and dermatological compatibility properties as well as a germ-inhibiting effect contains from 0.1 to 50 percent by weight of a surfactant or a surfactant mixture, from 0.01 to 2.0 percent by weight of sodium formate, ammonium formate, potassium formate or magnesium formate, from 0.05 to 2.0 percent by weight of a sorbic acid element selected from the group consisting of sorbic acid and salts of sorbic acid, including alkali metal salts of sorbic acid, particularly sodium sorbate, and from 0.1 to 1.5 percent by weight of phosphoric acid or an aliphatic organic acid containing from 2 to 6 carbon atoms and being free of amino and halogen substituents. A method of preserving an aqueous hair- and body-cleaning composition is also described.

  • Patent number: 4971784
Abstract: The hair- and body-cleaning agent contains a combination of (A) a physiologically compatible salt of formic acid, (B) benzoic acid or its physiologically compatible salt and (C) a physiologically harmless inorgnic or aliphatic organic acid as well as a surfactant or surfactant mixture. This hair- and body-cleaning agent is very well preserved and also very well compatible.

  • Patent number: 4928953
Abstract: In order to avoid a pushing-together or pulling apart of an imbricated stack of sheets during reversal around the reversing roller (3) of a rotary sheet feeder (1), belt-like flexible guide means (18) are used which are disposed at intervals over the axial length of the reversing drum (3), one end of the feeder frame side forming an intake gusset while the other end of each is articulated through a spring (19) on a rod (20) which connects the side walls of the feeder frame (7). The flexible guide means (18) pass between the reversing element (13) and the intake side roller (8) of the second belt conveyor (6) which forms the withdrawal table, the reversing element (13) like the other rollers of the second belt conveyor being mounted on a pivotable frame (11) which is articulated in turn on the feeder frame (7) and is initially tensioned in the direction of the reversing drum (3).

  • Patent number: 4751990
Abstract: A multi-disc clutch comprises a pressure plate, an intermediate plate and two clutch discs on both sides of the intermediate plate. A main spring urges the pressure plate towards a fly-wheel so that the clutch discs are in frictional engagement with the pressure plate, the intermediate plate and the fly-wheel. When the clutch disc is disengaged the pressure plate and the intermediate plate are lifted away from the fly-wheel. The lifting movement of the intermediate plate is effected by a release spring and is controlled by supporting the intermediate plate on a counter support which counter support is axially movable in response to the action of a clutch disengaging member. The counter support is established by a member which has an additional essential function within the clutch. For example, the counter support is established by the main spring or by a leaf spring connecting the pressure plate for common rotation with the clutch cover.

  • Patent number: 4613088
Abstract: An arrangement for reinforcing and spacing annular hammer rotor disks which are securely mounted on a rotor shaft. Disposed between these disks, there are provided pivotable, replaceably mounted hammers which are offset over the periphery of the rotor and are disposed at a distance from one another. The hammers located close to one another in a row are mounted on a common supporting rod which is parallel to the axis of rotation. A plurality of U-shaped replaceable strips, each of which is provided with a crosspiece, can be placed and secured on one of the annular disks in the circumferential direction thereof. The crosspiece of one strip rests against the crosspiece of the adjacent strip, and the intersection of the abutting ends of two strips is disposed in a radial plane of one of the supporting rods. Each crosspiece, at least on a long side and near an end, is provided with a cutout which corresponds approximately to the radius of pivot and thereof approximately to half the width of the hammer.
