  • Patent number: 5583471
Abstract: The contact spring arrangement has an elongated contact spring having a rigid connecting leg which extends approximately parallel to the contact spring and conducts the switching current in a direction opposite to the contact spring. On the side opposite the connecting leg the contact spring has a contact piece which co-operates with an opposite counter-contact element having a contact piece. The repulsive forces between the connecting leg and the contact spring become so long that even in the case of the highest short circuit currents no welding of the contacts results when in the case of contact pieces made from silver or a silver alloy the length of the gap formed between the contact spring and connecting leg is at least 20 times larger than the average spring spacing in the gap.

  • Patent number: 5360841
Abstract: The addition of ethylene oxide/propylene oxide block copolymers containing 5 to 35 weight % of ethylene oxy groups and molar masses of the propylene glycol block between 1500 and 3000 to dry, hydraulic binder materials results in reduced dust formation, improved wettability, and enhanced flow properties of these materials when they are mixed with water.

  • Patent number: 4975481
Abstract: An aqueous contact adhesive containing an aqueous dispersion of a water-immiscible solvent. The aqueous contact adhesive can contain additives such as preservatives, anti-oxidants, thickeners and thixotropicizing agents, emulsifiers and protective colloids. The contact adhesive has outstanding properties, particularly in regard to the absence of surface tackiness of substrate surfaces coated with the contact adhesive and a high initial tack of the substrate surfaces fitted together under pressure.

  • Patent number: 4910935
Abstract: A two-layer cavity floor construction comprising a base layer of profile element panels with a plurality of passage-forming spacer elements and a surface layer which combine to provide a minimal overall height with particularly good noise and footstep insulation. The base layer is formed from a noise-insulating material preferably based on polyurethane bound in a polyurethane foam.

  • Patent number: 4770916
Abstract: An electrically conductive flooring and method for constructing same upon an existing flooring, which comprises sequential layers of: a nonwoven base layer; an electrically conductive coating layer; an electrically conductive adhesive layer; and an antistatic or electrically conductive top layer; a copper band is optionally located within the coating layer and/or adhesive layer.

  • Patent number: 4675607
Abstract: A magnetic field probe contains an injected coil body having a cloverleaf shape and on which two windings offset relative to one another by 90.degree. are provided. The coil body is positionally fixed in precise fashion in recesses of a bipartite housing, and are fixed therein via supporting tabs. The housing is formed of two identically fashioned half shells which are joined to one another with a friction-type lock by means of fastening elements applied in complementary fashion relative to a center plane.

  • Patent number: 4509025
Abstract: An electromagnetic relay has a hallow coil body and coil having a longitudinal axis with a bar-shaped armature pivotably mounted for movement in and extending through the coil body, a permanent magnet arrangement having polarization directions perpendicular to the coil axis, two yokes disposed in a single plain parallel to the permanent magnet arrangement, two pole plates connected to the yokes and also extending perpendicular to the coil axis, and a flux plate overlapping and spaced from the yokes and having a flat segment with the magnet arrangement being disposed in the volume defined between the overlapping area of the flux plate and the yokes, the magnet arrangement extending substantially longitudinally parallel to the coil axis. The structural arrangement of the flux plate and yokes so as to define a volume which can accommodate the magnet system permits the magnet system to be encompassed within the relay without adding to the overall length thereof, thereby adapting the relay to miniaturization.

  • Patent number: 4491813
Abstract: An electromagnetic relay has a bar-shaped armature which is mounted at one end at a coil flange in a carrier comprised of insulating material, in which center contact blades are also mounted at opposite sides of the armature such that movement of the armature is transmitted to the contact blades through the carrier, thus eliminating the plunger which is normally present for contact actuation. The offset positioning of the contact blades with respect to the armature in the carrier causes friction which substantially prevents damaging impact of the contact pads of the contact blades with respectively mating stationary contact pads.

  • Patent number: 4160965
Abstract: A polarized miniature relay where the armature and the armature activated electrical contacts are positioned interior of the coil winding with the contacts injection molded in contact carriers and the contact carriers and armature preassemblable onto a bar magnet forming a single unit inserted into the coil interior.
