    Abstract: The invention relates to an electrical device comprising a supporting substrate (1) which supports electronic components (2) as well as a strip conductor structure for connecting the electronic components (2) and on which an electrically conducting shielding element is disposed that surrounds the strip conductor structure and the components (2). The shielding element is composed of a first pot-type shielding part (7), the edge region of the hole of which rests upon contact areas (5) of a first surface (8) of the supporting substrate (1), said contact areas (5) being connected to a fixed electrical potential, and a second pot-type shielding part (9), the edge region of the hole of which rests upon a second surface (10) of the supporting substrate (1). The shielding parts (7 and 9) can be fastened to the supporting substrate (1) by means of fastening attachments which engage into first recesses (6) of the supporting substrate (1).

    Abstract: A housing (1) for holding a printed circuit board (10) has a cable receptacle (2) which is configured as a cutout open toward the side of the printed circuit board (10). A cable (7) is freed from its insulation at its free end, and then positioned over the cable receptacle (2) such that the end of the bared cable strand (9) initially rests on the housing (1). Thereafter, the cable (7) is pressed into the cable receptacle (2), the bared end of the cable strand (9) being bent over by 90°. Subsequently, the printed circuit board (10) is laid onto the housing (1) in such a way that the cable strand (9) penetrates a bore (11) in the printed circuit board (10) and can subsequently be soldered.

The arrangement includes apparatus to detect short circuits and to shut down individual sections of the bus line to protect the individual sections without shutting down all sections.

    Abstract: A connector for a ring circuit of a bus-system with a plurality of connectable information sending and/or information receiving units, whereby the connector has a housing with several plug contacts provided with cutters, which cutters cut through the insulation of the ring circuit for the contacting and which are connectable with an information sending and/or information receiving unit, and under circumstances with a consumer. The housing which receives the plug contacts is constructed as a connector upper part which can be slipped on the ring circuit and under certain circumstances additional lines. The information receiving unit is constructed with use of a printed board assembly and is housed in a capsule which is able to be slipped on the upper part of the housing. The plug contacts have contact surfaces which contact the connection surfaces of the printed board assembly.
