  • Patent number: 6708427
Abstract: The invention concerns a sole, used as a throughsole, inner sole or insole for a shoe, e.g, a football boot with a flexible outsole. The sole ensures that when shooting on the volley in football or with similar loadings, the entire force can be transmitted to the ball or similar sports equipment by means of a special stiffening of the sole by tension elements attached to raised walls of the edge area of the sole.

  • Publication number: 20020112379
Abstract: The invention concerns a sole (1) embodied as a throughsole, inner sole or insole for a shoe, in particular football boot, with a flexible outsole. The purpose of the invention is to ensure that for example when shooting on the volley in football or with similar loadings, the entire force can be transmitted to the ball or similar sports equipment. This is achieved by means of a special stiffening of the sole (1) through tension elements (11, 12) attached to raised walls (3.9, 3.10; 7.9, 7.10) of the edge area of the sole (1).

  • Patent number: 6138385
Abstract: The aim of the invention is to design a sole (1), and a shoe with such a sole (1), so that the length of the sole (1) or of the upper attached to it can be easily adjusted, using adjustment means (11), to meet the needs of the wearer of the shoe. This is achieved by virtue of the act that a front thrust block (7) is fitted at the rear (5) of the front sole (2) and a rear thrust block (8) at the front (6) of the rear sole (3). The shoe is fitted with at least one adjustment means (11) which forms a force-locking connection with the two thrust blocks (7, 8), the jointed section (4) thus being adjustable by the adjustment means (11) to various lengths.

  • Patent number: 4712318
Abstract: A gripping element for a sports shoe comprises a body portion of plastic material and a ceramic insert which is embedded into the body portion and which provides the ground-engaging surface of the element. The ceramic insert is surrounded over a part of its length by a metal sleeve which is also embedded into the body portion of the element. At least on its outside peripheral surface around which the metal sleeve extends, the ceramic insert has surface configurations such as annular ribs and/or grooves to provide a positive connection to the plastic material therearound, with a layer of plastic material between the ceramic insert and the metal sleeve.

  • Patent number: 4698924
Abstract: A gripping stud for sports shoes comprises a stud body and a ceramic insert connected to the stud body thereby to form the ground-engaging surface thereof. The stud body comprises a central metal portion and a base portion disposed therearound while the ceramic insert connected to the lower end of the metal portion is of a flat lens-like configuration, with curved top and bottom sides. Alternatively the ceramic insert comprises a plurality of juxtaposed balls embedded in a stud body at the ground-engaging surface of the stud.
