    Abstract: Conductive tracks disposed on an electrically non-conductive support material by depositing a metallized layer on metal nuclei produced by using electromagnetic radiation to break up electrically non-conductive metal compounds dispersed in the support material, and a method for producing them. The electrically non-conductive metal compounds are insoluble spinel-based inorganic oxides which are thermally stable and are stable in acidic or alkaline metallization baths, and which are higher oxides with a spinel structure, and which remain unchanged in non-irradiated areas. The spinel-based inorganic oxides used are heat resistant and remain stable after being subjected to soldering temperatures. The conductor tracks are reliably and easily produced and adhere strongly to the support.

    Abstract: Described are conductor track structures on a nonconductive support material, especially fine conductor track structures, which are comprised of a base containing a heavy metal and a metallized coating applied to this, and a method for their production. The invention is characterized in that the heavy metal base in the area of the conductor track structures contains heavy metal nuclei, which have been created by the breakup of an organic nonconductive heavy metal complex, and that the support material contains microporous or microrough support particles to which the heavy metal nuclei are bound. An outstanding strength of adhesion of the deposited metal conductor tracks is achieved. The method is especially suitable also for the production of three-dimensional circuit supports.

    Abstract: Conductor track structures arranged on a nonconductive support material, especially fine conductor track structures, composed of a heavy-metal base and a metallization layer applied to the base, and a method for producing the conductor track structures. The heavy-metal base contains heavy metal nuclei which are formed by breaking down a nonconductive heavy metal complex by using UV radiation produced by an excimer laser. The heavy metal complex is applied to the entire microporous surface of the support material and covers the surface of the support material in the area of the conductor track structures. Conductor track structures produced according to the invention are comparatively easier to produce than previously known conductor track structures and exhibit very good adhesion.

    Abstract: A tire tread of a vehicular tire has, in a peripheral tire direction, a plurality of tread block rows that are separated from one another by wave-shaped longitudinal grooves arranged essentially in the peripheral tire direction. The individual tread blocks within each individual tread block row are separated form one another by transverse grooves, whereby the transverse grooves are arranged such that in a left tread half as well as in a right tread half the transverse grooves are aligned with one another. The groove center lines of the transverse grooves at the outer rims of the tire tread are slanted relative to a tire axis at an angle of 3.degree. to 15.degree.. The groove center lines of the transverse grooves of the center tread block rows are slanted relative to the tire axis at an angle of 15.degree. to 50.degree. whereby the transverse grooves create a design of transversely arranged elongated S-shaped grooves.
