    Abstract: A connector assembly includes a board-end connector and a cable-end connector. The board-end connector includes an outer shell, an insulated housing, and a terminal module. The insulated housing has a receiving cavity. Two ends of the insulated housing have an insertion opening and an assembling opening in communication with the receiving cavity, respectively. The terminal module is in the receiving cavity and includes ground terminals and pairs of signal terminals arranged as a single row along an axial line. The cable-end connector includes a flexible parallel cable and a plug at one end of the flexible parallel cable. When the plug of the cable-end connector is inserted into the receiving cavity through the insertion opening, each of contacts on the plug firstly contacts a first contact portion of a corresponding one of the ground terminals and then contacts a second contact portion of a corresponding one of the signal terminals.

The cable-end connector includes a flexible parallel cable and a plug at one end of the flexible parallel cable, and an engaging portion is at each side of the plug. When the plug is inserted into the receiving cavity through an insertion opening of the insulated housing, each of the engaging portions is engaged with a corresponding one of the flexible locking portions.

The insulating housing includes an assembling portion defined through the base portion and between the tongue portions. The receptacle power terminals are retained in the base portion, and one ends of the receptacle power terminals are exposed from two faces of the tongue portions and arranged as two rows. The board-end optical communication module is on the assembling portion.

    Abstract: A cable-end connector of an optical-fiber connector assembly includes a cable-end shell, an insulating housing, a first terminal module, a second terminal module, and a cable-end optical communication module. The cable-end shell has an accommodation groove. The insulating housing is in the accommodation groove and includes a first plate and a second plate which are opposite to each other, two insertion grooves between the first plate and the second plate, and a mating opening in communication with the insertion grooves. The first terminal module is arranged at one end of the insulating housing away from the mating opening. The first and second terminal modules respectively include first and a second terminal bases as well as first and second plug power terminals. One end of each of the first or second plug power terminals extend toward the two sides of the insertion grooves from the first or second plates.

A first surface of the optical-fiber module protrudes beyond an outer surface of the upper cover. The magnetic attraction members are on the circuit board and adjacent to the upper cover. The cable component includes power transmission wires and optical-fiber cables. The power transmission wires are connected to the circuit board and electrically connected to the terminals, and the optical-fiber cables are connected to the optical-fiber module.
