  • Publication number: 20130028793
Abstract: An ozone generator includes a housing with a plurality of openings and containing an ultraviolet lamp and a blower. A control is remotely connected to the housing for turning the generator on and off. The ultraviolet lamp emits ultraviolet radiation. The blower moves air into contact with radiation from the ultraviolet lamp. A modular arrangement of the invention includes components for assembling an ozone generator. The arrangement includes a first generator component and a second generator component connected by a hose. Another embodiment of a modular arrangement includes a generator and a blower connected by a hose. A method for operating an ozone generator includes placing an ozone generator in an unoccupied, enclosed space; placing. a controller that is connected to the generator outside of the enclosed space; and turning on the controller.

  • Publication number: 20090180934
Abstract: A device and method is provided for converting oxygen within air into ozone. The device has a portable housing with an air inlet and an enhanced ozone air outlet. The air inlet has a first diameter and the enhanced ozone air outlet has a second diameter. A lamp housing positioned within the portable housing. The lamp housing has a plurality of UV lamps for emitting UV radiation, and the plurality of UV lamps extend from a first end of the lamp housing to a second end of the lamp housing in a generally parallel configuration. In one aspect, a first UV lamp is positioned adjacent a first side of the lamp housing and the second UV lamp being positioned adjacent a second side of the lamp housing, and the air enters the lamp housing closer to the first side than the first UV lamp is positioned relative to the first side. The ozone generator further has a blower positioned within the portable housing for moving the air into contact with UV radiation from the plurality of UV lamps.

  • Publication number: 20050088283
Abstract: The invention provides a system and method for communicating with a subset of nodes. A node filter is generated representing a set of transmission preferences of at least one node in a set of nodes. The node filter for each node is stored either at the node, or at a central server located remotely from the node. A communication abstract is generated representing the target audience, a subset of nodes, for a communication. The communication abstract and communication are transmitted to the nodes, and the communication abstract is compared to each node filter. Based on the comparison, a determination is made whether to display the communication at the node.

  • Publication number: 20040135671
Abstract: The present invention is a wireless device, such as a pager, that has an identity, such as a frequency and a capcode. The wireless device is provided for notifying a user of a message, such as a telephone number, directed specifically to the identity of the wireless device. The wireless device includes a housing, a display attached to the housing, a driver connected to the display for causing indicia to appear on the display, a controller, such as a microprocessor, connected to the driver for sending to the display a signal comprising indicia to appear on the display, a memory, and a receiver connected to the controller for receiving a page signal directed specifically to the identity of the wireless device and for communicating the page signal to the controller. When the controller receives the page signal received by the receiver, the controller sends to the driver a signal comprising the advertising indicia for causing the display to display the advertising indicia.
