Abstract: There is provided a cooking appliance having an oven cavity, a fan, a heater, and a convection shroud. The fan is configured to circulate air heated by the heater to redistribute the air throughout the oven cavity. The heater configured both to heat the expelled by the fan and to generate steam from water in which the heater is immersed within a water reservoir. In described embodiments, the water reservoir is part of the convection shroud and is formed or attached together with a fan cover thereof.

A control panel of the control housing is configured to allow a user to control the cooktop and is least partially housed within the control housing. A support member is interposed at least partially between the cooktop and the control housing and includes a gutter adapted to direct fluids from the cooktop away from electrical or electronic elements housed within the control housing, such as the control panel. The support member can be coupled to or otherwise support the control housing, such as to assure appropriate alignment thereof, such as for automated assembly. The support member further can be hidden from view of a user beneath respective upper surfaces of the control housing and the cooktop, allowing these upper surfaces to lie co-planarly, providing a desirable aesthetic.

Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods are provided for and in conjunction with an oil coalescing breather which may comprise a breather housing with a standpipe for at least receiving an air flow containing oil, a first end, a second end, and a molded coalescing material. The first end may be configured for at least receiving the air flow containing oil into the standpipe. The second end may be located at an opposite side of the standpipe from the first end and be configured for at least emitting air from the standpipe. The molded coalescing material may be positioned in the standpipe and comprise a plurality of openings enabling the air flow from the first end there through. Each of the plurality of openings is large enough to allow coalesced oil from the air flow there through to fall into the first end under a force provided by gravity.
